lol I'll actually be getting the 89 batman so I will be doing something like this with it. But I agree I do prefer the begins suit as apposed to Dark Knight suit. The Begins suit feels so much more like batman and the dark knight suit is too military for my taste as batman, it kind of takes the fantasy element out of the character for me. not to mention I actually don't have the TDK figure batman so there's that lol

I prefer that suit. I'd RATHER it be that way. While we're at it, let's go all '89 on that m'f'er!

I also prefer the BB suit!

I signed up for sideshows waitlist a few weeks ago and he came through last week. I'd try that for a week or so and see if it works out. I think alot of people got cold feet with some of the problems it's had but I think this guy is pretty freaking awesome.

Finally worked up the nerve to cut the pegs off the clips and tape them in place.

This is just preliminary futzing. I need to strip him down again and tweak the clips and cape before I put it into my permanent display.

I never thought I would say this, but despite how much I hate the idea of covering the awesome suit, I just love the presence of this figure all wrapped up in his cape.
