It doesn't. At all.

Why do under and behind look like the same thing to you? With the cape posterior to the clips the clips look completely pointless, superfluous, useless... they are just out there in no-mans land serving no purpose. :banghead

And I agree. Cape drape looks effing awesome Jye! :rock

:gah: :banghead :gah:

and

:hi5: (for the drape appreciation)

simultaneously :lol

I can see what D is saying though, my cape is just touching the tip of the clips, so it just might be coming from them :lol

But I also 100% agree with Maglor's viewpoint......dammit :gah:

I can't believe you BatFreaks are still bumping and talking in this thread .

Jye, seeing as though the clips don't even correctly function as cape clips, there's no big deal. Don't worry about it, it looks great. I know on one of mine, lance's cape isn't even cut correctly around the neck to even be able to have them over the cape without them being near the shoulders (where the Hot Toys peg holes are). If you look at stills the placement looks different every time. In some photos it looks like the clips are just part of the cowl.

As long as there's no gap between the clip and the cowl and cape, I think you're golden. After all, the cape is under the cowl anyway. Don't fret man, it looks great. Enjoy your figure.

You've come a long way from this,

Which still looked good.

It could be worse,

:lol Sorry!

Honestly, just do what you are gonna be happy with.

My personal opinion is that it's soooo easy to just futz the cape so that it looks like it's actually interacting with the cape that any other cape placement would be all I could see if it was on my shelf and I wouldn't sleep till it was fixed. But that's just me. :peace

I have to admit that here is a trick to achieving this cape placement, and it is more difficult than having it come from further posterior on the neck. It's hard to explain how I do it... You bring the cape as far forward as you can (farther than lforigno designed to to come forward), put the head/clips in place and then slowly and carefully pull the cape back to the position you want it in.

If that doesn't make sense, I'll pull my figure off the shelf to take a couple descriptive pics. :)

I just got my second Bruce bats from SS when it just came back in stock from last week and as we all thought its a returned one. I must admit the body on this one looks better and shinier than my first one. Of course the right boot is loose and probably broken. I'm not worried cuz I have two and I can swap parts. The bad parts of the figure will go in my tumbler once I get one from the relaunch. Very happy I was able to get another one though.

D, great advise as usual buddy, I agree that mine definately looks better than stock and was an improvement just by adding the clips..........

but i'm weak and will be giving in to the Dark side of the Maglor. :panic:

Lord Maglor, no need for you to move your figure but thanks for offering, I will experiment.

There's never a Lambo Windu around when you need him most. :lol

:lol :lol :lol

I gotz to tell ya....the rubber washer works really good, it's very stable and easy to move around with a slight push with the index finger.

Very easy to futz, youz will sea. :yess:

Is this guy serious? Where did you get this pic? I mean, come on now!! Your telling me, whoever this dude is, that when he was done putting his figure together he went "Yup, that's it. Looks great." WTF. It looks goddamn ridiculous. He's got that stupid mouth piece in, in a goofy running stance and I'm not even sure what he's doing with the batarang. It's almost like he's running to catch up with someone. "Excuse me sir, you dropped your batarang!"

My TDK cape is in the mail, now I gotta get the BB cape. Man, it truly enhances this figure a ton. It's freakin huge too!

Some people just buy HT's and display them like 6 inch toys, there's this guy on YouTube (Sean Long), he does alright reviews, but the poses he puts his HT's in are ridiculous. He takes them out of the box and sets them on the shelf, even if the arms and legs are all over the place. :lol

As simple as it may seem for us to pose 1/6 figures, some people just don't know how. I have a friend who admits he can't pose his figures, try as he may. I've helped him, but he just can't do it on his own. Most of his figure are just standing with their arms at their side. :dunno

I don't get it. Whats so difficult about it? I do find it strange that not everyone seems to have an eye for what looks good and natural and what looks plainly silly and unnatural.

I say that, and now someones gonna dig up a pic of mine of a figure with his elbow bent backwards or something.

I would die inside if I saw that in person. :lol
