A lot of things has to match up before you start making money off youtube.

There are A LOT OF peeps on youtube doing the same exact "x" review. Google searching is based on tags, views, and thumbs up.

For example, your ultra awesome T800 hot toys review, that has 3 views..will be lost at sea because every time someone types in "T800 hot toys review", sean longs will come up..and yours will be on the 6th page.

There is however, a snowball affect. The first 50 subscribers you get may take months! But once you get more views, the easier your videos can be found, the faster you accumulate views and subscribers.

Lastly, there are three key things to gain subscribers

1. Good lighting
2. Edit Edit Edit, no one wants to see you drag your camera around throw up from all the shaky cams. The more your video look like a movie(lots of editing), the better.
3. Be funny.

Before you know it, youtube will invite you to share revenue. Before this, you will NOT make a cent from your videos.

And no, you do NOT need 50k subscribers to get invited.
You do need I think 10k total views.

I like Sean's reviews but I HATE the fact he does the voices, if his actual voice wasn't bad enough he pretends to be every goddamn figure he buys... He's one of the tyes of people that makes people laugh at collectors.

Got around to doing Jye's mod. Gotta say, it's pretty clever. Here's some pics.

Thats it, I'm going to do the lolz cat mod tomorrow.

:yess:

cut that damn stem of the clip and be done with it, doesn't it look bad ass or what! :rock

lolz cat mod :lol

Just showed my wife that.....she just keeps walking, doesn't miss a beat. :lol

She hates my cats....they're banned from most of the house. :lol

I'm on youtube so I can give you a clue.

For every 5000 views, expect around 10 dollars.

Sean has 84million views

If you do the math, it's around $160,000
minus his sponsorship from BKBN and such, which probably pays him in free stuff or just money.

His true number is probably around 120k.

So yeah, he can buy whatever the hell he wants.

:lol Gotta admit, the thought crossed my mind.

Yeah, I have an offer from YouTube right now to get paid for my videos. But the only video I upload have copyrighted material in them and I don't wanna lose my channel. It's all music videos and trailers.

(insert shameless plug to my YouTube Acc.) :)

THEY ARE BACKWARDS!!!! :gah::panic:

Oh well, easy fix (that's why this mod is awesome)

I felt like Tony Stark building the Iron Man suit in the cave while doing this mod, even had the music playing. :lol

I like his voices and could go without the review. I could care less what people think of me as a collector and I'm sure Sean Long doesn't either. He's just having fun and so are we.

Actually when it come's to collecting figure's people either don't care or actually think they are kinda cool. When I'm at work and someone see's me on the computer looking up HT stuff they ask about them. They either just shrug their shoulder's in a " I don't care" sorta way or go
"Man, they look neat" and ask questions.
