As I am new at this hobby, I think there is no much fun on have the figure posed with the arms and legs straight, I really don't care if the figure ends up lasting just a couple of years :gah: :monkey3

Posing them extreme for some photos is fine I guess.....but then long term poses for me are of the boring variety :lol

The rubber body on this seems fine apart from the matte finish rubbing off. Oh and all the seals round the waist area coming loose:monkey1

Opened this up today. Felt like my display was missing something. Gave it a little futz and managed to get a half decent pose out of him.

I can't for the life of me re attach the harness though. Can't even find instructions.

Honestly, this is one of my worst figures. With all the god damned QC issues and posing limits I can hardly enjoy it. I really just need to pick up one the custom capes and leave this figure in one pose for the rest of its lifespan (most likely arms to the side and legs straight, with the cape wrapped around him)

I hope to make a Bruce Wayne custom sometime in the future but for now

I had a real hard time reatatching the harness aswell, but after a lot of swearing and stopping myself from banging the figure in the table a couple of times, it finally got on!
I only loosened the strap over the chest and the clips around the legs. Having only that done you should be able to get that damm thing on again!

:lol You have the right of it. The suit ____ing sucks.

I don't know why everyone has had such a hard time with the harness. I was expecting a real pain in the ass. The most difficult part are the clips. I used tweezers to undo the clips. You just gotta be very careful and not touch the suit. Putting it back on is just remembering where the strap around the torso goes. The clips pop right back in easy.

Yeah, unfortunately I have to agree.

I get all the extreme poses out of my system within the first few months. I tend to change the poses every week or two during that time. Then I try to find a simpler pose that is somewhat creative while not stressing the suit. The nice thing about Batman is that you have the cape to futz with, which means you can make the "waiting for the bus" pose your own. :)

I'll be damned. The one peg that's in the broken boot is different than the one in the boot that isn't broken. The non broken boot has a symmetrical peg on the broken one the the little round part is slightly bigger on one side. :dunno

No, it appears that the peg for the right ankle differs slightly from the left ankle. I guess this is just some odd one off anomaly. Weird.

I don't know how the peg got like that either but I most certainly wouldn't make something up.

As for not being "wholly surprised", it wasn't completely directed at you personally just the general workings of this board. It seems when anyone experiences anything out of the norm of general knowledge or can't seem to get something working that other's had ease with then they are labeled as a liar or an idiot. Like I said nothing I've experienced from you just things I've seen here. :peace

No worries. :peace

I'm not inclined to think of you as a liar, which as why I responded with a lolcat. But if you nave a picture of the two ankle pegs side-by-side, I would be interested to see it. :)
