WOW just bought a hot toys batman demon sculpt for 18 bucks and 6 bucks shipped for the hot toys demon cape ..Does anyone know if this will fit this new version of hot toys batman ?

Subjective. I see just as many flaws with the custom in question.

Nothing is perfect, but I see a lot more flaws with the HT than the Custom. The main issue being how defined the HT cowl's lines are, the actual cowl has very soft features, and the custom captures that better for me

Plus the neck on HT's is too long and not 'panther like' enough, which again the custom gets more accurate

Finally, the face(s) on HT's are not fat enough for Bale in Begins

But I did say IMO

My only concern with the custom is will it be too wide. That might be a deal breaker for me as it would outweigh the improvements.

If I can shorten the neck on this head I think I will be fine with it. I don't mind the more defined lines.


I guess I'm more concerned with what looks natural than what's screen accurate. Giraffe neck looks un-natural, but so does a double wide head, and the neck length is fixable.

I don't think the width would look out of place or unnatural because that's how it looks on screen. Anyhow, until we see pics of that on a body (which could be quite some time away), it's a pointless argument.

I just remember seeing the side-by-side pic, and thinking it was quite a bit wider than the HT head. I've never thought the HT head was too skinny so...

It's obvious that the lines are more accurate on the custom, but it does look wider than the real cowl to me. May be the angle or something though. Like you said, until people have it in-hand it's hard to say.

Could be a tad too wide maybe, but also note the real cowl pic is not sized up exactly to the same scale as the custom/HT head pic.

But yeah either way hope we can have the custom in hand at some point in the not too distant future
