If you have any new updates, please feel free to share.

While I'm not an advocate of personal attacks just because someone has a dissenting opinion from your own, I personally don't mind discussion and exchanging opinions on a related topic. As it stands at the moment, there are no new updates nor news regarding the figure that nobody has already known for roughly the past few weeks. People can only ask so many times what we think of the new body, etc. Since there is essentially no existing figure for what this thread is supposed to be about, people resort to other means of discussion in the interim to keep the threads going. Whenever there is something new regarding the figure, it's usually posted immediately.

The BvS Superman thread is rife with discussion about the figure; that's because there is now an existing figure to discuss and share pictures of.

I'm still sort of torn with this figure. I thought Affleck was one of the only redeeming qualities of the film (although there are a lot of things about the way Batman was portrayed that I hate) but I'm not sure if I really want to support Batman V Superman by buying a figure as I really don't like the film much at all. Still I'd like a version of the character because I am a big fan of Batman. Maybe I'll just see if the solo film is better and buy the figure from that instead.

Yes you've made it quite well known that you're a DC fanboy and that any criticism is met with a stupid gif or sarcastic remark because heaven forbid if someone's opinion doesn't line up with your's completely. I actually like DC (notice my avatar) but I'm not a fan of the current direction of their films.

I thought the film was trash, but love Affleck's Bats. He'll direct and co-write his own movie anyway (together with Geoff Johns), so if you're feeling the character, I don't see what's wrong with buying this.

Then again, HT will surely produce more Affleck Batman figures and future versions will likely be even better built/tailored.

Only reason I'm passing on this is because I've been trying to refine my collection for the last couple years... and also the point above.

The last few weeks this thread has been garbage. You have a bunch of arrogant self important nerds who feel the need to write 2000 word essays giving their garbage opinions.

I really loved the movie. I love affleck and yes, im one of those, told you so guys. I knew he would be money. The direction is fine, its the execution. Keep in mind, snyders had to fill the movie up to set up all the forthcoming sagas and characters, he was in a no win situation. He did the best he could. I hated the pacing and i hated lex, everything else i liked just fine. I look forward to adding this figure to my collection.

A no win situation?.. I don't believe that. There's a good movie in there somewhere. A lot of the mistakes were easily correctable.. First, don't hire jesse eisenberg, cut the film better, some sunlight would've been nice, maybe have more than 2 jokes or lighthearted moments, change the reason batman and superman came to an understanding..

Yes, he needed to set up a universe.. But the way he did it seemed so unnatural and forced.. I should also note that I blame the writers as well.

I feel like they looked at marvel and thought that they needed to catch up or something. With marvel.. We had end credit scenes that helped set things up.. There was more of a build up to all of their characters coming together. I think that's what's missing with these movies, they tried to jump into the deep end almost right away.

It's not an atrocious movie by any means, it just could've been better.

I do enjoy the designs of the suits though.. I was skeptical of the batsuit at first, but I think it worked very well. The armored suit looked great and I really liked the knightmare suit. I too thought affleck would do a good job, which he did.. But I still think he was a little one-note throughout the entire movie (which wasn't his fault).

Sorry, I didn't want to drudge this up again. And sorry for being a "self-important nerd" with a "garbage opinion".. I guess passion means someone feels "self-important".. Sort of like belittling someone else because they don't share your opinion
