I screwed up big on this one, I ordered when I first saw the movie but ended up cancelling later now I dont think my waitlist will convert

Hate when that happen. Being indecisive cost me many time in the past. At least there going to be JL and Bat solo movie down the line.

After the favorable reviews this has been getting I'm doubting there'll be a lot of cancellations, lets hope SS is able to get some extras...I've been on the waitlist since Saturday night.

That worries me too. Been on exclusive list since Saturday morning and regular since yesterday. A part of me hopes that Deadpool gets stellar reviews and causes some to cancel in favor of him. I'll be getting Deadpool no doubt. But Bats is in the air due to wait list :(

I absolutely NEED to know how Owen1313 beefed up the arms/shoulders on his Batman! It makes a great figure look even better!

Do you think he actually beefed them up? I can't tell. He definitely repainted the suit and added in shadowing highlights. But I think the figure looked more screen accurate without the repaint. I am really curious how he got the cape to fit so flat against the neck portion of the cowl though.

It definitely seems like he changed the shoulders/arms and maybe even the traps so the cape drapes over more accurately. Looking at other pictures of the figure, none of them look as stocky as this one does, even with the arms turned more inwards to create a more muscular look

I wonder if beefing up the arms would hinder the articulation at all, I'd rather have him able to do some sweet dynamic poses than have him look extra thick and just have him in a museum pose.

Wow, didn't think he would get wait listed so early. I too canceled in favor of justifying a purchase of a Star Wars figure. But once it hit HK and the blogger pics rolled in, I hurried and preordered again and dumped all my points for him. Can't wait to have him throw Arkham Leto Joker around his glass cell (Detolf) later this year.

I like how the cape sits more flush against the shoulders, but maybe it's just me, but his mod makes the triceps look like their sagging and I also wonder if adding more weight to his arms will hinder the articulation as well :slap

Also, is it just me or does it look as though with the arm mod they can't sit flush with the body as they normally would? Looks like he's hauling two carpets under his arms or something.

Anyone ever reach out to owen and ask him how he does these mods? I never see him respond to anyone on facebook or instagram haha

I messaged him on instagram but haven't gotten a response yet either unfortunately

He said he used putty on the bare body to beef it up and then painted the body suit.

:thud: putty, ah..no, if that doesn't hinder the articulation, I would be surprised. Also using putty under that material on the suit might degrade the material over the course of a few years depending how much he used and how how it was sculpted on the plastic

It also doesn't look like the stock cape to me. Especially the way it drapes on the ground and over his shoulders. I'm probably wrong through.

Looks like he only beefed up the shoulders and the upper portion of the chest so I don't think articulation is hindered too much. The rest of it comes from his repainting and shading on the suit to give it some better definition. He likes doing museum poses so I imagine that wasn't even a concern for him. Works well with Batman anyways.

Material looks the same when you compare it at the shoulder. He just futz it properly.
