Wow. Pre-ordered this morning from FP.com here in the UK. Just had text saying order dispatched. Was seriously considering going down the overpriced ebay route.

I had no idea how I was going to get this in the UK after the prices went crazy for him on eBay and pre orders had seemingly sold out everywhere.

Relieved to finally have one.

Checked my email, dispatch notice from forbiddenplanet.com


Still says available for pre-order on their website. Anyone UK or Europe based get it before they sell out, worked out at £235.49 shipped. A little more than other retailers had it but still a bargain compared to eBay prices.

Stuff a little cotton/fabric down inside the suit chest area

ahhh ok thks! do kinda remember that being said but wasnt sure. that forces suit out more and allows that cowl tip to not be in way? is that only fix? that idea i had bout bending up the cowl piece has that been tried?

Okay I see it now, got a second email just after 5 saying its coming tomorrow morning and I'll receive a 1 hour delivery time slot
Part of me still thinks its too good to be true feels like Christmas eve now!

EDIT: Scratch that just found an email in my spam folder from round half 7 this evening saying they aren't expecting stock till mid December now (again this is FP.co.uk not the .com)

Not been this excited for a figure...well ever. I really need to start acting my age! Will it look to desperate if I open the door before the delivery guy knocks

I think fp.com were giving a similar mid December estimate before yesterday so maybe the European retailers are starting to get them a little earlier than they thought. My original pre-order with a Belgian site is giving the same mid December date. Hope they get through the system before Christmas when the system slows down.

I can't do much with mine, apart from check it's undamaged, until I finish the display cabinet he's going in and decorating the room. I'll just be relieved to knows he's there waiting when its all finished probably just before Christmas.

Yeh they are different companies who oddly use the same name... I have no idea if they are related loosely or maybe were once upon a time.

Hopefully only a couple more weeks and it's not going to get cancelled, especially as I have already paid in full.

Had no idea they were different companies, that is odd to have the same name. If they cancel I should have a spare in a couple of couple of weeks, assuming that retailer doesn't also cancel
