Haven't posted some pics in a couple of weeks -- figured I would show off my new custom "warehouse" base. I took the idea from a collector/customizer/artist that I follow on Instagram (officialjedthomas). I think he used a more solid stone base, and it was slightly smaller than my base, but similar concept.

I went to Joann Fabric, and found a 7x7 wood base which I painted black. Picked up a bag of "craft sticks" to use as the warehouse floorboards. I painted the "floorboards" in a light brown/olive green mixture, followed by a black wash to give it that aged look. Also used some Talus natural medium to use as a debris/dry wall. I was able to place some small pieces, and actually crush some of it for effect.

Still a work-in-progress -- need to put some final paint touches on the sides of the floorboards, but happy with how it turned out.

That looks awesome! Would look even better if you could perhaps put a crate on the base as well.

Thanks! I may create an even bigger base, where I can add a crate. This was a fun little project that I completed in just a couple hours. Now that I have a process down, a larger base with some additional props would definitely make for a cool display

This is Amazing! Might want to try this out myself :)

Just a suggestion! I'd spray it with a couple coats of matte acrylic sealer to finish it off.

Nice! I've been wanting my display for him to look like the warehouse, too, just haven't sat my *** down to do it, yet. Looks great man.

That's awesome rogue runner. I've actually got the exact same parts at home but just haven't got around to making it yet! When I saw your pictures I was like 'cool, it's not just me!' :lol

I genuinely have the same idea down to the black base. Mines a bit bigger overall though.

Great work!!

Awesome base, RogueRunner! :rock

Awesome work! Have you done anything to your bats? Stuck down the chest and such. Looks amazing.

Thanks man! Yeah, I actually used a small cotton ball to place inside of the suit in the upper chest area to fill it out a touch and to fix the cowl/bat symbol overlap issue. I also experimented with using some small pieces of putty on the fronts of each shoulder to add a touch of muscle mass. To me, it looked great, and I left it in. With the cape/cowl, I just "futzed" with it so it sits flush on the shoulders. Lastly, I have the suit pulled up a bit in the legs/crotch area:

Thanks for the info! It looks badass man, it's how I would want mine when I eventually get it.

I managed to order a Batman last night on fp.com as it said in stock. Was hoping to get a order confirmation and shipping notice today. Had nothing yet and when I check the order status it says ''We are currently waiting for updated information from our suppliers - Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.''

Never ordered from fp before so don't know what to make of it. Have they oversold or am I just being impatient haha.

I got mine from FB last week - it said the same waiting to hear from suppliers on my order for two months but I did eventually get one. Just a case of waiting.

Yeah man, they are very simple mods that add some more screen-accurate mass.

And that's great to see your order is processing. Hopefully you get it soon -- you're going to love it

They got their stock in a couple of weeks ago and had more than expected so had some up for sale for a day, I got one without pre ordering and it was posted the next day.
Then out of stock, hopefully they are just waiting for a few more to come in as cancelled orders
