It looks to me like Creasy just didn't fold the top part over correctly in the front. And from the email I got, there was both a weathered option and nonweathered, and those pics clearly seem to be of the nonweathered.

I never recieved such an option, so I am upset that I might not get what I was shown.

I'm not looking to rattle any cages - but to clarify my point - I'd like to see Ben go out on a high note wether it's one movie and one cameo or multiple - he's a good batman and this figure is amazing and it would be a shame for a shroud of bad feelings hung over his tenure as batman. The figure stands on its own - i just hope this dc cu can manage to get a little respect

Am I wrong for expecting the weathered/pleated Jaxon cape that was in the original pictures? Isnt that kinda false advertising?

Where did people start getting the notion that Affleck is going to bail on the franchise?

There's a lot of info that seems to suggest so. First he dropped out of directing it, and now supposedly the script is being re-written by Terrio. It's been a downward spiral so far.

Eh, sounds more like speculation to me based on nothing. I mean that's not saying it's not going to happen of course, but I don't think there's any reason to be alarmed or jump to conclusions at the moment.

It's similar to thinking that evidence seems to suggest HT will come out with a BD BvS Armored Bats based on the Armored Bats figure not including a Kryptonite spear nor any interchangeable damaged pieces.

yup, not to mention that Creasy states in his comments that he didn't futz it well

"I've not had time to properly futz it and as such it's not that great a representation of jaxons cape. "

Firstly the script HAS been re-worked by Terrio, and Affleck is extremely happy with it by all accounts. As for dropping out from directing he has publicly said that trying to direct the film whilst wearing the suit would be problematic and he would need the suit redesigning for ease of getting in and out... obviously though the way these suits are designed it would be near impossible with the current design to do that... so he stood down for logistical reasons... but eh, don't let that stop the trolls and people with an agenda making something out of this that doesn't exist! :slap
Affleck simply said that wearing the suit would mean he couldn't give proper attention to directing – the guy wants the film to be the best it can be – incredible that people can turn that into a negative!

One thing I will say though is that WB need to sort their **** out... the constant leaks are shocking. Take for example the social-media uproar about Matt Reeves - the guy is in negotiations with WB to direct Batman... i'm also hearing somebody is in negotiations to direct Shazam – when was the last time you heard that Marvel were in 'negotiation' with a director? You don't – WB need to keep things like this quiet and announce when a director is assigned to the project and not give the trolls fuel for their bull****! Marvel have negotiated with director who didn't take the job, they've even had directors walk away from projects they were directing – but do they get the rubbish the DCEU is getting?

WB's own version of "Fake News", and SSF wastes no time in propagating it. :lol

WB and the WH have the same problem - leaks.

Yep. DCEU and the current administration are very similar right now. Going against the grain and the status quo does that.

Give me a break with this nonsense that Affleck couldn't direct in the suit. The man knew the challenges going in, but all of a sudden he decided it was just too much? If he truly believed in the project he would have made it work. Affleck himself stated numerous times,"I'm not going to write and direct anything that I don't think is good enough to be made. I'm definitely going to make sure I have something that is special-there's not enough money in the world to make a mediocre version of Batman worth it." And here we are. There's no doubt in my mind every time he made a statement like that he wasn't just answering the question. He was trying to send a message to the studio to back off, and give him the time necessary to get the project in tip-top shape. However, since WB is in such a rush, rush, rush with this universe they no doubt kept at him to get the ball rolling, and finally at some point enough was enough for Affleck, and he told them to find a new director. Chances are he's told them to find a new Batman as well, and it will only be a matter of time before that news hits. I mean seriously, how can anyone think Ben Affleck is happy right now with the situation he's in? After years of being the butt of jokes, and starring in crap films, he built himself back up into an acclaimed academy award winning director, and respected actor. Yet now, after taking on the role of Batman he's in a downward spiral again. How could anyone think he doesn't want out? The look on his face in that "Sad Affleck" gif said it all as far as I'm concerned. That was the look of man full of regret who wanted nothing to do with anything of the movie he had just made. He knew BvS was crap, and couldn't believe he let himself be a part of it after all the hard work he'd put in to build himself back up over the years.

As for the leaks, you know who's letting the leaks out? It's WB themselves. They want people talking about Matt Reeves directing Batman, or Mel Gibson doing Suicide Squad 2. It's their attempt to combat all the negative news surrounding this project. Problem is when talks break down they just look even more incompetent then they already do. You'd think that would be impossible at this point, but they just keep finding ways to look more, and more stupid. It's quite an accomplishment if you think about it.

Annnnd more speculation, personal interpretation and opinion, based on nothing substantive. Translation: I think this universe and the mere three films they've made are crap, so how could he possibly not want out?

Sigh-- Affleck is certainly going to make this movie and has a hand in picking the director I'm sure- Trolls keep making up stuff to keep the ball going

I will say WB doesn't give a crap what trolls on internet sites are saying....I've yet to see a single one of these guys run a film studio let alone get a job as a caterer to a film. Weak minded know-it-alls who grow brave behind a keyboard
