Ever since we've become aware of the peeling issue I haven't been keeping my figure in bent arm poses for very long. Pretty much just long enough to look at but then it goes back to a more vanilla pose for regular display. I'd like to go back to doing poses where he's holding the grenade launcher or sniper rifle with both hands, and be able to leave it there. Hopefully the durability of the Justice League figures are improved.

Take some of the plastic that protects the shins or gauntlets when you unboxed him,cut it to a size you like and place it underneath the armpits,I did it with mine, you can hide it well enough

I think this might be a nice idea. I never dispose the plastics on both his gauntlets and shin guards so that it can help minimize the suit rubbing.
the only batman I can really pose without fear is the adam west version. although I don't really have affinity for that version of batman

Could the plastic potentially fuse to the suit over time and when taken off, peel off some of the coloring of the suit with it?

No I really don't think so,I'm not worried about it at all

Might want to sell mine if anyone is interested. It has Tony Mei's Cape and ankle extensions + my own body Modifications. Comes with all the original accessories (besides 1 set of relaxed eyes, only angry and looking to the side), + original cape, and original box. It is just the sniper version. Zero peeling issues as well as I keep my figures in simple museum poses. Comes with a black basic stand instead of the BVS stand. Will take some pictures later today. PM if interested.

Plus it's that almost teflon like plastic,so I don't think there's any chance of the suit adhering to it

Mine gets stuck together as well at the armpit, but no major peeling so far. It's a bummer to have to worry about that, but there's not a whole lot to do except to be careful posing him.

Hopefully the JL figures don't have that issue.

While I'm at it here's a couple pictures of my current pose. Looking forward to the rebreather piece from Deadshot:

Poses are so stiff and awkward. Nobody stands like that. It's really feminine for beast batfleck. Bring those shoulders dowm and turn those biceps in. Also tilt the head down a bit to give him some menace. He looks like he just got caught farting lol

Uh, okay. Actually the distortion from the phone camera doesn't show it but his head is tilting further down than it appears. Pose looks fine to me though! It's supposed to be like he's walking, not standing.

hi, I think you can alter the position of the hand. for example, if his right legt is in front of him, you might want to make his left arm more in forward position than his right arm

True, I missed that part of the pose. Next time I go for that kinda pose I'll include more arm placement indeed. Thanks man. [emoji106]

Lol SilverStar, I had a similar confused reaction. Seemed alright to me.

Walking and running poses are indeed tricky though. The foot in the back usually has to be sort of resting on the toe for walking and arm placement is also key in order to sell the pose.

I do agree about turning biceps in a bit using the bicep swivel. I do this on a lot of my figures that are especially in static poses, as it looks more natural. Turning your arm outward to where the length of your bicep faces directly straight ahead when standing at rest is an awkward position.

Indeed walking poses can be hard. I've had trouble with them before for some reason. Ratchet joints and balance can sometimes make it hard. But I mean, as long as you're happy with it on the shelf. I appreciate that he was trying to help me with that particular pose, but how in the world he thought it looked like he farted, I don't know.

It took a bit of tweaking to finally get my TWS GA Cap and TWS Falcon to look like they are running the way they are in this particular screen grab:

Like you said, balance can be an obstacle because the figure sometimes has to have one leg off the ground in order for it to look right.

I usually try and pose my figures based on poses from screen grabs out of films and use it as a guide as I'm posing it, so that way you know the pose it's in looks as natural as it can since it was an actual pose in the film.

That's a good idea to use poses that the characters actually did in the movie. Like you said that way you can copy the pose right out of a screen cap. I do that sometimes as well. For example Kylo Ren did some awesome poses in promo photos, and also while he's fighting, so you can get some good ideas for poses. I currently have mine like he's dueling Finn.

By the way awesome you have GA Cap and Falcon! Both those figures look great.

So! Now that I finally have Bats. Instantly I don't like the cape. It's too long and hangs all wrong!!

What's the best/affordable custom capes again??

It makes it more fun for me personally as well because they're recognizable scenes right out of the film.

I'm still getting the hang of posing too. But I always see most having him very stiff looking. With his shoulders/ traps up timid like. I always try to have my figures in a more action ready pose I suppose. Like so. But it's as you said, as long as you're happy with him on the shelf.:)

I don't know if this has been discussed about or not, but I think I will share in this forum.
So last week I opened my second batman (on your right) just to check if the suit got sticky, though the suit itself is fine, I noticed quite big differences between the two..
I also don't know if you can see it because of my crappy photo skills, but if you observe the muscle definition around the abdominal area, my left batman looks more muscular because of this:monkey4
