I think people were guessing at the silver body for a while but now we have confirmation. The suit has loads of little holes in which you can see the silver through, it's a great effect.

That's a great picture. Do you have him sanding on just a blank oval base crotch grabber stand with the vacant BvS base in front of it? I wish the BvS Supes base came with a crotch grabber stand insert option on the base as opposed to exclusively the c-clamp attachment.

Thanks! Yeah I have him standing on a blank oval base and I just put that on top of the BvS base

Hells yeah. It's pretty ingenious. Unfortunately articulation is still limited. They're getting close to having the perfect superman IMO. Hopefully by the third time, we'll have a great outfit and an even better body that'll allow for wider movement...oh and a 2nd HS.

Nonetheless, so thrilled to finally having this figure.

Does the costume limit the movement more than the MOS costume limited that figure's movement.

Nah it's not the costume. It's elastic enough to theoretically pull off any pose...that's if you don't care about it getting loose over time from leaving it stretched for long periods of time. That being said, even though I own a MoS figure, I haven't actually "played" with it because of the mods required to have it look it's best. So I can't really comment on its elasticity.

All I need now is a George Reeves Superman and my holy trinity is complete. [emoji106][emoji851][emoji327]

Cool pics!

I like the last one in particular, where Reeve Supes is showing BvS Supes the Kryptonite. It's like Reeve Supes is teaching Cavill Supes the ways of being Superman, like he's saying this green stuff here, yeah it can hurt you. You want to avoid this at all costs. And if someone tells you not to open a lead box, for reals, don't open it because this stuff will probably be in there. :lol

Yeah this is undoubtedly a big improvement on the MoS version. Be nice if we could finally get that laser sculpt...

Seeing the pictures of Superman in the detolfs. Will it be possible to put 2 BvS-bases next to each other?

You know I wasn't too keen about them changing the traditional Superman costume in MoS, but seeing these 2 figures together, the current costume just looks so much better. It's Superman in a modern era and it just works a lot better than the traditional costume.

Yeah. No opening strange lead boxes. Lol. These two definitely look very dynamic next to each other. I must have just stared at these two for like 30 mins last night. Haha

:exactly:

Even though it worked and went well with Reeve's suit, the traditional red underwear and yellow belt were initially meant to merely represent the old style strongman from the time Supes was invented, nothing more. Other than that, it really does nothing else other than simply to break up the suit. The actual belt serves no purpose.

The new suit(s) achieve that purpose (breaking up the suit a bit) perfectly without having to wear red underwear over your outfit or wear an actual belt.
