I received my second Supes figure this evening from BBTS. Should be receiving the OSK heat vision sculpt for it tomorrow.

And for those who have minor blemishes on their figures and contemplate returning them for a replacement, having two of these proves my point that you're never going to get a flawless figure; there's always going to be something. There's things on the new one I received that my first one doesn't have and there's things on my first one that my second one doesn't have.

I feel the same way about size comparisons. I wish there was a some type of universal scaling system that all 1/6 companies followed. Different sized shoes/boots, heads, heights, etc, etc, sends my OCD wild. Especially because I'm a bit more of a custom collector than I am a licensed guy, and customs tend to be bigger than HT. I love both but it makes me wild that I have figs like Jack Torrance and Hannibal Lecter that are taller with bigger heads than my T-800s.

Thank God it began and ended with the MoS line. Sucks that a couple of figs had to suffer, but it would've been way worse if it continued. Maybe ok for new collectors, but anyone with a good amount of older figs would've had a collection of things that looked like Medi's in comparison to the new releases.

Overall the new releases DID actually grow a bit from the standard of a few years back. For example the Caps, IM & Thors of today are taller than the originals, but it's still manageable. Nothing is MoS sized

Personally I really like all these movies that the majority doesn't. I love Ultron, MoS, BvS and really enjoyed Skwad. They all have issues, some more than others and maybe Skwad worst of all, but all of them get better with each viewing and some of the problems that are glaring during the first watch end up smoothing out with each time after IMO.

We saw BvS 3 times in the theaters, and while she liked it she felt it didn't stand up to the better Marvel movies (and the Marvel universe in general). We only got half way through tonight, but she thinks the added scenes of the UE make for a big improvement and a better movie. I definitely feel the same as I watched the UE twice already and love it

I'm the same way. Most films that fans dislike I generally like, including all the ones you listed. Perhaps I'm a bit more lenient than other fans, I don't know. Perhaps I see beyond the surface a bit more than others and interpret things differently, maybe. I just know that when I go to the movies, I allow myself to be entertained. I don't go in with the intent of seeing how many flaws I can find with a film and what I can nit pick and complain about. You usually end up missing the movie if you focus on trying to find everything you feel about it is negative.

:exactly: Well said. I've also got my Superman from bbts and heat vision sculpt from ebay. Just waiting for the Armored bat. :lol

Received my OSK heat vision sculpt today and it looks phenomenal. It looks to pretty much be the same quality as the HT sculpt; perhaps the HT one has just a smidge more detail, but it's not much. It looks pretty much exactly the same. Definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to pick up a painted heat vision sculpt for this figure.

I ended up putting it on the EX version figure, which was my first one. The second one that I picked up from BBTS is the regular version, but I felt that one was better for a static pose because even though I like the way the cape sits at the shoulders better on my first one, the cape seems to be a bit longer on this particular figure and it seems to have a bit more pleats, which I felt looked better draping wise for a simple static pose. Also, the fabric of the boots on this one is straight and don't crease at the ankle joints. The first one I got has the creases in the boots at the ankle joints, but bending the foot forward at the ankle joint when in a levitating pose hides them.

As I've mentioned before, I plan to separate my BvS line into two groups of three: The Supes figure with the stock HT sculpt will go with WW and regular Bats in the Trinity pose from the film and the one with the heat vision sculpt will go with Armored and Knightmare Bats. Should look awesome!

Thanks, bud! :duff

Two Supes are better than one! I like it!

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm going to end up with all the BvS figures (sans BC Armored Bats) and I didn't really like the fact how there'd essentially be a surplus of Batman from the film, but only one Superman. The one Superman I had would have been part of the group to complete the Trinity and therefore, left Armored Bats an Knightmare Bats kind of in a group of their own without any sort of action, so to speak. I thought another Supes with a heat vision sculpt in between the two would look perfect, being that Supes used heat vision at some point in both scenes that those two Batman suits showed up in.

Ok don't hate me because u don't go backwards and read a ton of pages but is there any mods I NEED to do on this guy?

Nope. Looks near perfect right out of the box. Any mods would only be extremely minor things.

I went ahead and picked up the heat vision sculpt from OSK as well but I'm going to put it on my MoS Supes. That was my cheater way of not having to pick up the BvS version. Although now that Bats is out I have a suspicion I'll end up grabbing this guy too.

Figs are looking good! :clap

Being a little more lenient (where applicable) and interpreting things differently is definitely the key. One example of many: I know it's a joke for the most part but if you're someone who thinks that Bats let up on Supes and their conflict got resolved because their moms had the same name, then no wonder why you hate the movie :lol. They way I read all of that was, saying "Martha" is just what got Bruce's attention and snapped him out of a blind rage before he was going to impale Supes. It humanized Clark and helped Bruce relate to him. It sparked the realization that Clark is a "person" with the right intentions, and not an "alien" with the wrong ones.

Plus I think it's hard to judge, review and truly appreciate a movie by seeing it once. Personally my opinions almost always change (usually for the better) after a second and third watch

i like this brilliant quote so much " Marvel makes a human superhero while DC make a superhero human" sorta... so both are different and will have their own markets and fans...
