It is a good looking figure but not as poseable as the MOS or look as natural when posed.

why not pair him with wonderwoman?Came home just now to find him waiting for me First impressions very impressed though weirdly its not made me love the MOS figure any less.
Think they might have gone a little overboard on his thighs and made his nose too big but those are minor nitpicks. Love the base of the stand though not sure I want to risk damage to his suit on the waist grabber.
A wired cape would have been nice but I do love the texture, feels very similar to the Tony Mei cape on my MOS but now with those pleasing neat folds where the cape attaches
Now I just desperately need one of these Batman figures to show up or he's gonna get awful lonely
why not pair him with wonderwoman?
why not pair him with wonderwoman?
I would actually agree with this. The more and more I look at both, the MoS figure does look a bit more natural in a museum pose. I think it's because the arms on the BvS figure don't really sit very close at his sides and flare out a bit.

I've noticed that already. His body and arms are so bulky I can't get his arms to sit close to his sides. They haven't made him too tall this time but he's still huge, makes my Terminator figures look small, no way is Cavil bigger than Arnold was at that time.
Some things I really love about the new figure are big improvements but in other ways its regressed. The detail on the suit and finish is better but I prefer the slightly lighter colour on the MOS suit. I like the shape of the S better but not big on the black around the lettering. The colour on the belt is much less prominent on this figure when I put him in the detolf and stand back.

Looking at pics of the actual suit that obviously isnt the case, the gold really stands out.
The cape really is perfect, cant stop looking at it Both head sculpts are spot on for their specific movies. I have a preference for the longer hair and more neutral look from MOS but that's just a personal thing.
These are all small nit picks and overall I'm very happy with both figures. If they make him just a little less bulky next time and iron out a few things the Justice League figure could be close to perfection.
From simply a suit perspective, I like the MoS suit better than the BvS as a whole. Like the color better (as you mentioned), I like the gauntlets better, the boots, the design of the lines on the sides of the suit and the oval shaped buckle. I like the glyph better on the BvS suit, that's about it. I still very much like the BvS suit, but between the two, I prefer the look of the MoS one.
From a figure standpoint, I agree with a lot of the points you said. I think the sculpt on the BvS figure has a bit shaper details than the MoS sculpt, but both are spot on for their respective films. The texture and the finish of the suit is also better on the BvS figure. And of course, the biggest improvement is the cape and the way it sits at the shoulders. I also like the way they painted the body silver on the BvS figure to give the suit that silver, "steely" tint when in light.
Despite it being 9 feet tall, I think the body is better on the MoS figure in the sense that it has better articulation. And as mentioned, the arms on it look much more organic and natural looking when at rest. Although I think both bodies accurately convey Cavill's body style for each film. While obviously very muscular, I thought he had a bit of a leaner look in MoS than he did in BvS. He was a bit more jacked in BvS I think, so the slightly bulkier body fits it well.

Hmmm I'm waiting on my bvs supes to arrive, having had the mos version since its release I was always happy with it until I got the bvs batmen.
Was gonna sell the mos version but I think il wait now and see how they look side beside, Iv always preferred the headsculpt on mos but the suit, build & cape looked better on the bvs one.
Damn it! Just when I thought I'd made up my mind!

Since I replaced the ankle pegs in my MOS figure he's now only slightly taller than the BVS figure. He's noticeably slimmer especially the legs and rib cage area. Was Cavill really that much bigger or was the suit padded at all?
I need to find the best pose for him but since I'll probably sell him when the JL figure is close to release, I don't want to risk damage to the suit. Do you just have him in a straight museum pose?
Yeah, I just have mine in a museum pose. The pose from the image in the film when the Trinity was first assembled, to be more precise. The figures arms aren't able to naturally rest that straight at his sides though. I plan on putting WW and regular Batman in those respective poses also, or at least similar to.

Since you guys are talking about JL.. I think it might be good to keep this 3 and add on when the rest of the JL figure is out....
Might change my mind of they actually make better version of headsculpt for Supes and WW.. But i am definitely keeping Bats.. Prefer this version than JL..

I'll be keeping my Bats to....assuming it ever gets here [emoji38] much prefer the lighter grey suit. It's unlikely I'll buy a Bats from JL at this stage. Still not sure about WW, with two more versions coming so soon I'm reluctant to get the BVS figure right now.
You'd imagine they would improve Supes even if his suit isn't a lot different but if not I'll just keep this figure.
I am just keeping my fingered crossed that they would wow me again with WW..( as they did with Bats) then I don't have to wait for the next 2.. Anyway, I PO-ed all 3...

That's a nice idea, I might have to get WW afterall I try some more expansive poses sometime but usually come back to the museum look.
Do you plan on getting the rest of the DCEU characters when the JL figures are released?
I haven't decided what I'm going to be doing yet.
I'll for certain get Aquaman and Flash. I don't think I'll get a Cyborg because I've never been the biggest Cyborg fan. If there's one scene I didn't really particularly care for in BvS, it was that Cyborg scene when BW was looking at all the metahuman files on that drive. I much prefer the BvS Batman over the JL Batman, but I tend to be a completist so if I get other JL figures, I might get him. I won't be getting any variant Batmans (tactical suit for instance).
I'm a staunch Superman fan, but the suit for JL looks just about exactly identical to the BvS suit. However, I currently have two BvS Supermans, as I purchased an OSK heat vision sculpt and put that on one of them to display with Knightmare and Armored Bats. So when JL comes around, I might unload one of my BvS Supermans and replace it with the JL Superman. If I'm going to have two Supermans with almost identical suits, might as well have them at least be from different films. I imagine the JL one will probably be sporting a new sculpt also.
cool.Waiting for my Wonder Woman to come in, because I'm doing just that.
