So far for me this figure is a homerun

I never said I have an issue discussing views. I only find it humorous when people argue about views, fervently trying to change someone else's mind because they can't stand the fact that someone else has a different opinion than them. Especially when really in the end, ultimately all that matters is your own opinion when it comes to your own collection.

Perhaps you missed my posts where I stated several times that I think this is a gorgeous figure and can't wait to receive it. It was a day one PO for me.

yes but why hate something and lost emotions on it. if you don't like figure or something you can simply leave it alone and don't buy. especially when there are really lots of alternative versions of Supes. I can say just thank you and nothing more to Hot Toys cz they created this art piece and its truly is. there is not anything on this planet what will be loved by everyone. so whatever . I love him.

true story, sometimes people just don't know what they want. disliking everything is a new trend. I remember when they were talking that MOS was too big now we are talking that BvS Supes is too short. so WAT

MOS body and this BVS body are actually bigger bodies, compared to most of the release.
They are closer to 1/5 scale. Its not an opinion its just a fact based on comparaisons.
Then there is personal opinions, some didnt like the bigger bodies some did.
For me since all the MOS and BVS Line are in scale with each other figures its fine in my book.
The new body is shorter just because its using shorter feet pegs, put longer ones and its as tall as MOS

Where have you see me saying the muscle sculpt is the same?????
Of course the body is clearly different, im talking about the proportions.
Can you understand the différence.

MOS body and this body are the same kind of bigger scale body.
Not the regular hot toys body.
That is What im saying.
Not that they have used the same body.

Put BVS hs on MOS body and it works fine.
Put MOS hs on BVS body and it works fine.

Only proportion difference is due to the short/long peg.
Just add a few millimètres to the knee boots and they are the same size.
Couldnt do better with my ipad sorry.

Here you can see even better What i meant about the proportions being the same.
I now suspect that save for the arms and thighs enhancers, its the same base body as MOS.

I dont give a **** about defnding hot toys they are a ****ing company, i just buy stuff from them not going to suck their ****. Im a collector who has actually several MOS Supes zod bodies for custom and studied proportions because i needed them to fix the mms238 who suffers from a big headsculpt (as big as MOS) but uses a regular body.
So no sorry you can take that hot toys lover routine somewhere else.
Just pointing the fact that they have again used big bodies like they did with MOS.

Olbert, first off, take a chill pill dude. Your posts thus far kept repeating shorter pegs implying it's the same base body....so instead of getting "pissed" at me for "misunderstanding" you, perhaps you should reevaluate how you post? Just a thought ok?

Second, you're split comparison proves my point even further. Look at his chest. Then look at the wing portion (the part between his arms and abs)...finally, look from the tip of his head to the bottom of his boots. So once again, it's not the same base body. Once again, he is beefier, but he's not as tall as MoS because it's not the same base body.

Well its kinda funny because i was just trying to show based on facts that they are using again the same proportions (ie MOS bigger bodies Line) and i got called a hot toys ass kisser lol

You put longer pegs on it, he'll have short arms. Yeah, he'll be as tall as MoS no doubt, but the arms will look short.

Yeah and also The suit design and the bigger arms legs could hide that... Dunno really but the waist to the pecs looks quite in sync for me.
Even the knees have the same kind of seams... We Will see but im betting on a modified base MOS body, would clearly be cheaper for hot toys.
Also unlike MOS or batman body they did not advertised it "newly produced muscular body".
Either way im fine with it. Cool to have dome muscle définition on legs for once.

This is gonna be my last post on this matter...but of all the posts you made so far, only ONE had the word "suspect". Don't give me that crap about me ignoring it seeing as how there was nothing to ignore prior. Before that you kept saying shorter pegs shorter pegs shorter pegs. I don't think color is wrong. MOS costume was too light blue, movie versions both BVS and MOS are really dark. I'm sure in person it will be better cz on every photo it looks different. depends on lighting.

Color is VERY wrong.

Granted, lighting is different, but the movie suit was almost vibrant blue whereas the HT suit looks darker than the MOS suit.

The hands end up at the same area.
So MOS too must have shorter arms too.. I guess.
The only big différence (expect the muscles... Of course) are the knee joints gap with the boots as shown here.
Adding long pegs to BVS Will clearly make the gap closer on both bodies

So the more i look the more i think they used MOS body as a base.
The knees are very particular on MOS, same as the ABS area. BVS body are very close.
Gonna bet on a MOS body with bigger arms, add on thighs muscles and shorter feet pegs

They did the opposite with this figure it seems.

With the MoS figure, it seems like they modeled the color of the suit based on how the suit appeared when shown at conventions. It appeared brighter and the red of the cape brighter than what it actually appeared in the film. It was darker in the film in my opinion than what the figure reflects.

This more to me reflects the color of the suit on the MoS figure:

Compared to how it looked in the film many times:

However, with BvS, it seems they modeled the color of the suit on the figure based on how it appeared the majority of the time on screen due to the darker hues used in the film. In set photos or convention photos, the blue is much brighter.
