I never got around to getting Tony's MOS cape, so that's why I'm interested in getting a parted out cape. It's bound to be cheaper and as you said, looks almost as good. The way it drapes and folds is fantastic. The MOS stock cape is bad, it flares out like bell bottoms lol.

Yeah. It's pretty bad. If you do the collar mod, the cape can look okay, but not as standard. I have a material i bought that almost the same as the stuff Tony uses. I have used it for some custom capes for figures.

Well guys, Superman arrived today, and it's incredible. I do think there's something about the eyes and the nose. I reckon the eyes are slightly too large for the face. And likewise, the width of the nose is off. But overall, in my own opinion, this is still a better final product than the MOS figure(Although i will never get rid of mine).
I tried to get pics in natural lighting, with shadows like a person's face would have and this sculpt is phenomenal. Although not everyone will agree, i love this one.
I got some closeup details to show the lessons HT have learned from the chainmail on the first one.

It's a funny story of how i came into it, lol.
I have the Batman/Superman two pack on order.
My Brother ordered this one from Timcent. It arrived yesterday(My Brother and his wife are in the US for three weeks on vacation) and the box was bashed to hell. The back of the shoebox. No damage to the figure/accessories etc.
But my Brother ordered it to do a review and wanted a pristine box. So i ordered him another one and i am keeping this one. My Brother will get the new one and i'll keep this. I'm swamped with work otherwise, i would have been snapping pics all day.

Just seen that he's charging $356 on eBay... Ouch!

I think it was $340. That's what i sent my Brother for this one so he could get another one.

Thanks. I always try and get a decent amount of shadows. It's never going to look real with bright light in it's face or the flash turned on.

He looks FANTASTIC! What an improvement on the cape and neck area...and the suit looks great.

I also like the stern expression the portrait features...most suitable for "BvS"....

Man, I hope my WL for the 2-pack converts at SSC....I don't want to miss this....just excellent!

I pre-ordered this figure on day one and I'm really looking forward to it but I have a few nitpicks.
The head sculpt is nice but does not quite capture Cavill's features.
The nose is too big and the face too narrow, not by much of course but it's there.
The eyes are not quite right either, the MOS sculpt was a better likeness in my opinion.
On the body the added muscles are nice but the thunder thighs are too much, they only look good from certain angles.
Finally, the texture of the suit is too pronounced for the scale, I liked it better on the MOS suit.
None of this will spoil my enjoyment of the figure and for once the cape looks great out of the box but there's room for improvement on future Superman figures.
Overall I think the Christopher Reeve and MOS figures were more faithful to their model than this one.

The only thing that i kinda agreed with u there was bout the nose being a bit too big or long,but the eyes is spot on dude because henry really does hv big eyes and thick eyelashes and eyebrows..if they would've made the same mos eyes on this figure i would never see any henry cavill on it..but HT could hv done better on the eyebrows tho because that and the nose that makes it looks abit weird

Same here. I saw in the Marvel section someone state that they were speaking with a rep at SSC and that rep stated that they are expecting Ultron Prime to start shipping from their warehouse on the 27th of this month, which is pretty much a month after its release in HK. Being that Superman released at the beginning of May, I hope that translates to a beginning of June shipping estimate from SSC.
