100% Agreed. I think the problem most people have is that they expect the characters to be a certain way. Superman is supposed to be this, Batman is supposed to be that. Well... this is a different take.

I'm hoping they add a few more extras to the standard WW.
There is a thread for it already....Just told by buddy last night they were gonna do it lol
I agree that each of these characters have rich, complex histories. But do not agree that the current DC Universe better reflects Superman's overall history than Reeve does. Reeve was a good mish-mash of golden and silver age Supes. Timm-verse Superman is more of a bronze/modern age mix. Singer's version was in-between those, but sabotaged by the wacky child subplot, out of place, Hackman-esque Luthor, and failure to give him a good, physically challenging adversary. Snyder had little bits from the modern age, but the tone was totally inappropriate to the bulk of Superman's past history. Because if there was an interconnecting thread, from the stories of the '50s to the '70s to post-Crisis, it was genuine hope and optimism. Not this dank, pessimistic, "natural disaster"-type undertone that permeates Man of Steel and Batman V Superman. The problem is that what people are expecting these characters to be is based on a narrow knowledge of the characters – Superman for example, it seemed most people who have a problem with Cavill is because he isn't Christopher Reeve!!! Whilst his Superman was incredible, it is a take on a character that has existed for almost 80yrs, and the Reeve portrayal reflects a small portion of that history – much the same as Adam West's take on Batman reflects a certain time, but should every Batman mirror his portrayal?
The Superman and Batman of the DCEU more accurately portray their comic book roots, however the vase majority of audiences do not know that and so just believe what they read in reviews and blogs.
It's true that they are looking for a director for the Man of Steel sequel, however that was always the case –*however Snyder was/is still assigned to direct Justice League 2... but your post just goes to show how powerful the 'negative bias' on social media really is!
You make it sound like I'm some Snyder hater when I was merely saying that JL would appear to be his final DCEU movie at least in the short term. Not my wish, just with all the annoucements that's the route WB seem to be going. I don't use social media btw.
Already back from Wonder Woman, she is just so similar with BvS.
Sorry not meaning you in general, but there is a massive Snyder-hate campaign on social media, who constantly post complete untruths, however people believe it sadly... you should see some of the disgusting stuff posted after Zack's recent terrible news.
I'm always interested in costume design changes between movies. I can't tell but are there any noticeable differences between her BvS and WW costumes?
