I want to finish the set not which is a disappointment because we have no villains from this movie . Maybe dooms day is not attractive or easy to make but Lex would be fine. Hot toys pulls out all the stops for heroes but for villains next to none . So for the next two up coming movies are they going to skip out on the villains too?

Suicide Squad is all villains.

With the exception of the Joker I consider the rest anti heroes , and since hee had a minor role in the movie the true villains would have to be enchantress and her brother.

In any event the always seem to fail and making villains no Maliketh, no Yello jacket , no evil John Connor , no Ronan , no Lex, no doomsday . I door one love to see every hero matched up against his villain the set feels complete .

Maybe they think Lex wouldn't sell well given the widespread criticism Jesse got for that portrayal. Doomsday would be hard to do and for me he was the biggest let down of the movie, just felt rushed and really anti-climatic. In fact all of Superman's villains have underwhelmed me on the big screen which is a shame as they work so well in the comics and animated world. Generally I've much less interest in collecting villains apart from the Joker so I can live with it but I see why others would be disappointed.

Like you I consider Harley an anti-hero and not an outright villain, much like Catwoman. I'd love to see her interact with Batman more either in a solo Batman or future Justice League movie.

In terms of villains with the exception of the Joker I think the rest are classic cut out characters and I think that as to do in large part to the story not devoting a large portion on time to them. The Joker is the exception since he is just a deranged individual who needs no back story if I recall only the original batman movie added that back story that he was some how involved in Bruce Waynes parents murder and then it was altered in the killing joke.

I think the best villains are those that start out as heroes who become corrupted .

I think lex would sell the whole line is doing well it would even sell better if he had his classic kryptnite suit. In the end they need more villains the set feel incomplete

Villiains generally don't sell as well as do the actual heroes, so I think HT is a little more selective in who they decide to make villain wise. The most amount of villains they make tends to be associated with what they feel their top selling hero characters are from each universe: Iron Man and Batman.

As much as I loved the film (BvS) and I personally liked this portrayal of Lex Luthor Jr., I don't think I'd have an interest in a Lex figure from BvS. He was ultimately the main villain, but I just don't think he'd have much of a shelf presence as would say the MoS Zod figure does or any other villain. Joker would be similar, but he obviously tends to be bit ostentatious with his outfits and therefore, does bring some shelf presence. Doomsday I don't think would sell very well because in 1/6 scale, he'd be roughly 1/2 the size of a detolf. I don't think many people would go for that because of the room he'd take up.

I do understand what you're saying though. I have the entire MoS and BvS line (sans BC Armored Bats) and the only DCEU villain I have as of now is Zod. Then again, he's really been the only main recurring DCEU villain thus far (if you want to count the fact that he technically morphed into Doomsday).

Pushed back is good news for the wallet tho..

Yeah Lex might not sell well but they can decide to release him as they did with Colson or Hill, yeah he is not much to look at in that suit or jacket but he is a classic villain I am hoping that this is not the end of him and considering superman really has no other real villains after Zod, Lex and Branic I am hoping for him to make a come back by creating Branic .

I'm sure Lex will be seen many, many more times in the future of the DCEU, but I don't think it'll be him that creates Brainiac (if they use him). He already created Doomsday and I don't think they'd use that same route twice where all of Superman's villains are essentially created by one of his villains.

Three times if you count Nuclear Man in TQFP. :lol

*Reminds everyone that Lex wasn't in BvS but Lex Jr. was and that Lex could still be in any movie*

Throughout this time, I thought that was Lex. Maybe they will recast Kevin Spacey as Lex Sr! Hell yeah!

He's still Lex tho.
He has the bald head, his name is Lex, he runs LexCorp, and he hates Superman. It's all excused though since his dad which we never see (and probably never will) had the same name. :lol

I'm not sure if Lex Sr is dead in this universe, but it certainly seemed like that was the implication. Was it ever specifically said that he was dead?
