1/6 Hot Toys-BvS: DOJ-1/6th Scale Armored Batman (Black Chrome Version)

This is looking pretty nice. I have to admit, that I wish I would have preordered the regular suit (just because it is the one seen on screen), but I ordered from Popcultcha when they had that big glitch and got a great deal on this. I tried to have my order switched, but they said I would have to cancel the order and reorder, thus negating the substantial discount, so I kept this order. My biggest gripe is the fact that it comes with that hideous stand. I managed to score a regular Armored Batman stand on ebay the other day though, so problem solved. Also have the lighted spear on PO from OSK. Can't wait to get it all. Best part, it's all paid for, so I just have to sit back and wait for the shipping notices.

just got it today. very sturdy figure, really feel hefty in hand.
although the black chrome is not as shinny as the prototype, it
looks more metallic than the general version imho.

This is a really nice looking piece! A slight issue, isn't chrome supposed to be reflective? it looks like a shiny black paint for sure. When you look at the Gold Chrome plated Midas Iron Man, that's my idea of chrome Not putting the figure down at all, it's nice and I would love to have it! I'm sure there are some paint experts out there, what are your thoughts? I'm sure there's a reason why they went this route.

I like everything apart from the belt being the same colour as the rest of the armour. Not sure why they couldn't have left it gold/yellow or whatever colour it is on the regular version. Still, can't wait to get this figure and glad I pre-ordered it. The £350+ ebay prices are crazy.

As long as the figure is able to stand on it's own the crappy stand we get with this figure doesn't bother me.

It's look just black and not chrome at all, i'm so disapointed, even without much light the prototype is so reflective (like the crosbaby one)

I agree with you! I actually am opposite from most people here that likes the released version. Definitely not what was advertised, and I reverted back to the original. Should not be called chrome when it's just a semi gloss black. Prolly should have named it "Black version" because even their black chrome cos baby was actually chromed!

It is CHROMED black- chrome plating comes in different tones and hues and can be prepared semi-gloss
