Good thinking, I've done the same. The stand will probably reach me before the figure does lol.

The stand is just gawdy. The stand that came with the regular Batman is just as good. I don't understand why they went with this huge stand.

Are you referring to the standard BvS base that comes with the regular version? If so, I don't see why it wouldn't.

He's in a brightly lit detolf there and looks epic! Light seems to bounce off his armous really well, now I'm really confused

I just noticed your in England to, where did you buy him from if you don't mind me asking. I'm being quoted early December delivery for mine.

Thanks, feels like its taking forever to reach the UK sellers. Hopefully just a couple more weeks now.

Little update: a friend of mine came by and I asked him which one he likes better between Regular and Black Chrome, as I told him I wanted to part with the Black Chrome version, either sell it or trade it... He doesn't collect Hot Toys (though I think he has one or two old models), but he loved the movie and loves great figures.

His answer: "man the black one is soooo much better, he looks badass! The other one has nothing exciting. That black armored guy has the dark look of Batman." He stared at the Black Chrome version for like 5 minutes and became crazy when I lit the eyes ahah, he had no idea the figure could do that. I know him, he's definitely going to buy one.

And really the lighting in my home didn't offer justice to the Black Chrome version. So I guess the Black Chrome looks more exciting for some people.
Makes me wonder if I'm normal or not for liking the regular version better, as I know my friend has great tastes.

I'm starting to wonder myself which one looks better haha. But still wishing to part with that Black Chrome guy, my preference goes for the regular version, but it's definitely a matter of personal tastes.

I never saw the black chrome in person but I saw the regular at a LCS and really liked it so I got that one off of the waitlist just recently. I do love the pictures for the black chrome a lot so I might just pick that up as well, and display it with a Batman statue or something holding the kryptonite spear. They both look great, but I like that black shine to it.

It all comes down to personal taste. It sounds though he prefers the BC one simply because it has the dark look of Batman. By that reasoning, one would theoretically like the Keaton and Bale suits better than the Affleck one, being that both of the former are black.

I am one of those that like the black suits. maybe that is why i choose the black Chrome over the regular.

I just wanted the suit that represents the look from the movie, you saw the suit at night in the rain. You didn't really ever see it as the first gun metal colour.

I much prefer the grey suit he wears in this movie compared to the dark black of previous movies. The pics of the Justice League suit so far really disappoint me, its a huge step back IMO. In direct contradiction of that I prefer the darker armour when it comes to this figure, I guess I'm just odd

I felt like I was in the same situation. At one time, I had the Black Chrome version on order but I kept coming back to the grey suit. When I saw the regular version at my comic book store, I was even more indecisive. The grey had such a balance between looking like armor but it was also darker than the pictures I had seen posted.

What really made my decision was this...the grey suit looks like the Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns. When I look at the regular version, I see those images from the comic book. That is the Batman I love. I adore the grey armor and the gold belt is essential. If the Black Chrome had the gold belt, I might have bent that direction but it didn't look like the Miller version. I put the figure in my curio cabinet this week next to Superman and I absolutely made the right decision for me. Love it!

Glad you have the one you love. The good thing with two versions, more people get the one they really want and aren't forced to settle. I'm still on the fence but the recent pics in this thread are easing concerns I had for the BC. Can only really know seeing it in person and I won't get that chance for until next month
