That is quite sandy isn't it? I might try to rub some of that sand off and oil him up a bit so he's a bit more ANH. That base and Crumb are going to be used with Fett though.

I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere.

I think this is accurate to rotj. I think the costume was modified so it would be more comfortable. I heard that somewhere but it could be completely bs.
Love this. I can’t wait for the in hand vids to see the weathering.
This seems very Jabbas palace specific. Maybe I don’t need 2?

It looks like it moves just like the suit- the more you arch back the upper portion, the more you see of the wires. But I think it looks pretty accurate:

I bet Hot Toys took advantage of their AOTC version being in production to keep the factory line running for this one and asking for a simple paint app running change for the most part.

I think it looks good except for the final 2 pictures where it looks like the weathering is more rust looking than sand. Hopefully it’s just the lighting. Looking forward to the unboxing videos.

Looks pretty good in the group shots taken from a distance, but these have me worried. Looks like someone was spray painting something red and this guy was behind it and got hit haphazardly with the overspray. Seems more subtle on the prototype solicitation pics.

TBA, Toys Buying Agent overseas, has this for $359 shipped. Pretty close to SS’s price so it’s tempting even though I have it preordered from SS already.
