scratch that. he's not wearing a pijama, he's wearing a comforter. afraid to catch cold maybe, i dunno.

i also dont know why the filmmakers decide to mute the colors blue and white as if ashamed of bright colors on their superhero, even when the guy is holding up a giant dish with star on it wherever he goes. their logic just do not compute. :cuckoo:

Well, I could see white not really filming well. I'm sure with all the lighting and what not, it probably stands out in film more than it actually would in real life... I mean, think of the effect flash photography has on white, right? I don't really know anything about the medium of film but I can accept that white or perhaps some bright colours might not look right on camera.

I think they'll probably go for a more "normal" looking Cap when he gets thawed out. This is their take on the WWII Ultimate Cap - and I loved that look, so this is fine with me.

yeah, but i trust my eyes over yours. that's the problem. :wink1:

Thats ok. I trust my eyes over yours :wave

Edit: As was said if you have a total issue with the look of the costume and you gotta have his exact costume then you have that older cap movie. Watch away. :lol

the suit looks great...you don't need a super tight spandex costume to show your buff..the colour scheme seems to fit the setting in WWII so i kinda see why they chose to go that way.... anyways thats the suit now & its not gonna change so theirs no point crying about it...they'll most probably opt for the more iconic cap suit for the avengers film

Also once they get to the eventual Avengers and Modern Cap movie I think the costume will more resemble his current costume. It might not be spandex but it will shade more that way I think.

white looks just fine on film. a good dp can play with any color and make it stick on film. you've seen kubrick's 2001, right? how about last year's moon?

did i say i like the older costume? i only said i dont trust your taste. i think i've come across your posts enough times for me to say that with confidence.

oh and a loose pijama could? :lol

yes yes, and in the meantime it looks like a$$. what, you never commented negatively on anything after the fact? never ever? silly boy.

Thats fine. I could give a ____ less if you do or don't. I like the way the costume looks and cant wait to get the HT figure from it.

You don't like it and thats your right but I really don't give a ____ honestly.:wave

btw, evans actually got to don a spandex earlier in the film:

the director apparently want to throw the fans a bone, and to make a point that spandex looks worse than a pijama(in the film, steve rogers apparently hate the spandex), even after spandex has been proven to look good on film for spidey, for supes, and even for evans as johnny storm in f4.

Because the films spans a few years we are going to get multiple suits.

Because he starts off as a sort of USO show thing he has spandex and the triangle shield i believe. But once he hears of his friend Bucky going missing he goes AWOL and with the help of Stark get his new shield, he then gets bits an bobs of different suits to create the suit we see in the above images. At least that's what I've gathered from sources.

So really we could get 2 suits from WW2

this is a lot like IM...in the next movie we'll get the modern suit...they just need to develop the character in this one and the best way to do that is his origin story

Here comes a new picture of Cap in Action !
I'am really looking forward to see the trailer !

Who is the lady? Looks a little like ole Scarlett J'

I like the new costume that he dons in this movie.Plus this suit is temporary he'll more than likely get to wear a suit similar to what he is currently wearing now in the upcoming Avengers movie,CAN'T WAIT!Either way,i'm just glad that they're are actually doing a Capt. America and hopefully they'll do him justice.I think so anyway!☺

i think the suit shown works perfectly for the WWII suit...and like ceeemor said, he'll be donning the current suit in the Avengers movie and Cap 2 movie
