Here we go again with the "this should be a dx" ..dx is waaaay over rated imo.

True true, so call it whatever you want to call it but blow him out, he's a figure that has a-lot to offer.

With Thor we got a hammer, a motorcycle gang outfit and a wig :lol

I know sweet FA about Captain America but I don't like Chris Evans for the role. He was Johnny storm and just much more suited to a character like that IMO. 1 guy playing 2 superheroes is just wrong. I've also always had ideas of Cpt America being older and stronger chinned - that guy from Human Target would have looked the part better IMO.

Sorry if this is a dead-horse discussion by now, I haven't been in the Marvel section much.

Completely agree with you Mark Valley would have been perfect. I always think of Captain America as a seasoned veteran that leads armies, Evans doesn't fit the part, but I hope I am wrong.

I agree with you about the 2 heroes by one guy but I think Evans can (I hope) pull it off. Remember Captain is a "seasoned veteran" in todays Marvel U but even Cap has to start off some place. This a WWII set movie he is still a cherry. With the 6 movie deal Evans signed to play Cap I sure we'll all grow to like him as Cap.

I think Evans so far looks like a great Captain America and I have every faith he will be brilliant in the role (Sunshine!).

You've got to remember that Steve was a young man when he joined Project Rebirth - and frozen only a few years later before being revived so an older actor wouldn't have been right.

fantastic 4 is supposed to get a reboot without Evans...

where did you hear he signed for 6 movies?

In a recent interview Evans did he mentioned how nine films seemed too much and that he ended up signing a 6 picture deal - he said hopefully he'll be playing Captain America till he is 40. :clap

I'm certainly looking forward to this figure more than Thor. We need to have pics soon!

The movie better rock and I hope Evans does this character right. Afterall, he will be leading the Avengers.

The WWII suit looks fine. Caps helmet reminds me of the football helmets during that era which is appropriate.

Flame on!

What!
The helmet is what throws me off the most.

We all know that Marvel Studios has injected a little bit of realism into their films.

A solider is going to wear a helmet into battle, Captain America isn't invincible one shot to the head he'd be a goner.

If he didn't have a helmet some of the general audience who aren't fans would question why he is a leader when he is stupid.
