It is still early in the year to agree with that statement especially with Spiderman, Thor and Ghost Rider in the works. That said, I am rather amped for this guy, I love the suit design (movie) shown so far.

Cap is my favorite superhero of all time, and I think the movie costume was done perfectly. So I can't wait to get a look at this figure.

Dont get me wrong, I'm excited for those as well and Spidey is a close second and while I like Thor and GR my top Marvel characters are Wolverine #1, War Machine #2, Captain America #3, Iron Man and Spidey #4

I been fortunate and I haven't missed a Marvel release...hoping to continue the trend. This license is my grail so Marvel is first everything else second.

I'd be ok if it was as "damaged" as the Iron Man Mark IV or War Machine

They could easily include two different versions of the shield. One clean, one battle-damaged.

I typically enjoy comic book films (Marvel , DC) so I have no worries buying a figure movie unseen. Not to mention, I grew up reading Marvel comics so a nice 1:6th representation is an easy buy. Other licenses, the figure needs to be iconic before I consider a purchase. Each their own brother. Welcome aboard.....

I believe this figure will do very well regardless of the success of the movie. However, the better the movie is the quicker this sales out.
