I think Captain America will be at least average. I disagree about Hulk being awful though.

Its one of the few movies I can remember actually about getting up and leaving the theater on.

Ang Lee's Hulk was visually impressive, I loved the scenes being cut like panels of a Comic Book but the actual film itself lacked huge especially using the father angle mixing with Absorbing Man. The Incredible Hulk was much better and the one I prefer except for the final Abomination scenes. According to reports a Mark Ruffalo Hulk film is in the planning after The Avengers so we will see how that all works out.

The trailer looks good. I do hate Hollywood messing with the mythos surrounding comic book properties though...mainly the shield angle. I'm no comics nerd but I loved reading Cap's origin story and how he originally used the old style shield before Teddy R gives him the iconic round one. Looks like they've raped that particular plot line.
Other than that, the film looks better than expected though...

The only criticism i'd have about Ang Lee's version was that it was too cerebral. Dont get me wrong, it was a nice attempt but, one thing im sure we all can agree on is that when it come down to the Hulk we all expect him to either a) smashing anything that happens to get in his way or b) him going against someone equally powerful enough from the Marvel universe. I think Ang lee was pushing too much toward the psychology behind the Hulk and thats where people started to feel the disinterest towards his version.

Yeah Norton's version was a lot closer to what we would expect the Hulk should be.

Yeah in retrospect Hulk might have not been the best choice in character for a cerebral film.

i preferred the Hulk design and action scenes of Ang Lee's HULK, neither film is the best on offer though, i wanna see a Hulk 'character' not just a Hulk transformation and action.

Just watched the Captain America Spot, and i thought it was great.

I like how he was very weak and skrawny before and muscly after
Cstume looks passable
Girl is hot and seductive looking
Scientist looked like a good actor
Red skull is cool
Shield is awesome

Only thing i didn't like was the flamethrower arms on the Hydra blokes and the wire-work leap cap does, looked fake.

Overall can't wait

I was actually pleasantly surprised that for the two seconds you see him jumping around that it didn't look like dated and cheesy wirework like we saw with Tim Roth in the latest Hulk flick.

Same here. Was hoping he would at least start-off with the crest shield. Then, they could have easily showed its weaknesses with the shield taking damage and incorporating some clever way in developing the circular shield.

Also, after the transformation, when the woman asked, "How do you feel?", I think they should have come up with a much more memorable answer than just, "Taller." Nothing cheesy, of course, but that was a prime moment to show some attitude.

Oh well. Still highly anticipating the movie and the HT figures.
