Wow, they did a good job of taking something that should, by all rights, look incredibly goofy in live action and made it pretty cool.

I am really looking forward to this movie, I hope I don't get over excited that I make the expectations too high. I like the way the outfit looks. Definate buy for me. hopefully we get a sneak peak of any work on the Sculpt and design of the fig soon.

They will probably make 2 version of him eventually, WWII and Modern. Unless they do a 2 in one Superman kind of deal but I doubt it. Can't wait to see what they offer as far as supporting characters. Howard Stark?

There isn't a Modern costume in this film. The film is bookended by modern scenes but takes place 90% in the 1940s. There IS a "battle" suit and a suit for the USO. The USO suit is supposed to look more like the comic version and Rogers apparently hates it, since its supposed to be more spandex, etc. What you see is the pic of what he wears out into battle, which is supposed to be inspired by this "show-off" suit but more practical.

I do wish the blue was a little darker though.

they would've have shown prototype pics by now to even have a chance of a July release. I'm sure it'll be, at least, the end of the year/beginning of next before we get him

The lead time is roughly 6-8 months without delays...the thing is HT's has been delayed alot so you are looking at probably realistically 9/10 months. So even if they show off the proto and order in February you are looking at November/December....
