I like the look of this quite a bit actually but would prefer the blue and grey with yellow symbol. Really hope they do a Gotham by Gaslight figure

Is it just me or do the faces look weird? The colored lips look like lipstick. They look alright at an angle, but straight on, something's off. I think the articulation might be pretty limited and they're using hard angles to hide it. Not digging the fully sculpted boots instead of a cut at the ankle for more articulation.
eh, might get this, tdkr is my favorite batman look.

I don't like the way his nose sticks out from under the cowl, but it's great that they're doing this. I would have preferred a Neal Adams, Mazzucchelli, or really any number of other versions--but hey, doing anything that isn't a Disney product or another rehash is great.

I'll take just about any comic version of Batman and Superman. Neal Adams and Hush Bats would have been my first choices but this still looks awesome.

My only worry is a few months from now they reveal a blue version with the yellow chest emblem.
And it’ll be limited

I'm also not a fan of the TDKR look (I like the comic/story though), so this is not for me.

But the bigger picture, that HT is now starting to make DC figures from specific comics and artists is incredibly exciting! This opens the doors for so many possibilities.

I just retired my custom Jim Lee Batman from my collection, so a HT Hush Batman would be very welcome. I'd also love a Neal Adams or Jim Aparo Batman. And please, please, please, make a Knightfall Jim Aparo (not Kelley Jones) Bane!

Is that really how his head is meant to look? Looks like a pug.

Frank Miller's style is "special" :) but definitely one of the best Batman stories

I thought the same thing, it looks like lipstick in some photos.

For me this is perfect. Will love to mod this to make it look more in line with the bloody/weathered look. Really hope they push the line and gives us The Joker too.

Fully appreciate some people might see flaws in this figure but, I will say with Inart coming around I think it was the best thing for Hot Toys as they have upped their game in terms of their decision of characters to make. It’s clear they have gone in a more reactive direction to the competition. Yes, we might have some 2.0’s only but prior to Inart the hope of some of those characters being re produced was zero. A TDKR style Batman was just not imaginable. It was always just a guaranteed push of Marvel/Star Wars.

Long may it continue!

Wow HT going all out trying to hook us in one last time before the world changes next year lol. I need this figure though 🤩 and wait for the inevitable yellow symbol suit with blue which I will also need.

Fatman.

Those mouth plates look terrible. I don't care if it's comic based, skin doesn't look and fold like that.

Art style for this was trash anyway.

I am guessing the desire to recoup the cost of a new body is the reason this is a Hot Toys and not a HONO figure.

If Hot Toys continues to make more comic figures (which I am all for) is it worth it for them to have a HONO line?
