To me having bought cheaper figures and having bought 2k custom sets - hot toys has always been the best value for money. The only thing I feel bad about is that they have stopped the D.X line. Probably because of complains like these. I wish they start D.X again and I would not hesitate on a 275-325 price tag on them. We collect these not to flip but for our own happiness and honestly the DX sets always made me very very happy both on value and price!
I do hope some day they will come up with a joker 3.0 collectors set with all 3 versions of joker - cop, br and purple coat in one box / set!

Yeah seems like the "Deluxe Set" took over the DX Series. So you can get a cheaper regular set or slightly more expensive deluxe set that comes with more. But the DX Series was great. they way they packaged them i loved. Have all the Batman ones they did and the DX Luke.

LoL. i dont think SSF can handle a Joker 3.0. They might have a total meltdown. :lol I have all the TDK trilogy, the only thing new i want from TDK are characters that never were made. Ras, Talia, Fox. :)

So since this Punisher is for the Daredevil series, it probably means another Punisher for The Punisher series will happen. If they can just do Jessica Jones, then ill be really happy. I want the 3 of them only :)

No rush to pre-order. Seeing that it's a year out, most likely more than that, is a major buzzkill.

Honestly it seemed like everyone's been waiting on a hot toys Punisher since they revealed DD, I wouldn't be surprised if he got waitlisted soon. Then again, the price. :lol

I have to agree. Just selling some old toys on ebay is hard to make break, even let alone make profit. And I don't count driving to USPS and gas, etc. You need to realize your enjoyment comes at a dollar amount and be happy or don't buy. This is an expensive hobby. People need to evaluate their desires against their needs and income. If you got the money and it's what you want go for it and don't let anyone tell you otherwise....try to agree with your spouse though lol

Well Said, it's a struggle over here getting a new purchase approved. I collect because it makes me happy. I don't think I will ever sell.

I preordered from BBTS, but I prefer SSC for the actual shipment. Basically, I'll do whatever it takes to avoid the NRD lol. If it goes WL, I'll jump on SSC.

My strategy these days as well. I only PO when I start to see it sell out.

I think this guy looks spectacular, and I kind of want this and Daredevil to be my first Marvel Figures. I've got to say, though, am I a weirdo for being more interested in his earlier, civilian look? I get that this is him as "The Punisher," but we got, what? Less than a minute of him watching Matt's back at the end with The Hand before disappearing and burning down his house? Plus, maybe it's stupid, but I thought his 'do as "The Punisher" was kind of weird and preferred the shorter hair accompanying his civvies. On that note, I can't wait for people to start getting these because I've always wondered what Bernthal's PUnisher would look like if they gave him the slicked back hair like he had in The Wolf of Wall Street, and I'm kind of wondering if anyone's have the balls to do that to their figure.:lol

No, but really: this guy and Daredevil look spectacular and, to tell you the truth, are probably the coolest Marvel related products they've shown in quite a while. I kind of wish they focused on this stuff more often. Give people Matt in his black get-up, Fisk, Luke Cage; hell, I think people would go nuts if they made a TF exclusive of Luke Cage in his "you look like a damn fool" get-up. Unfortunately, that ain't the world we live in, but it's exciting to see them doing something new and fresh.

Just wait for his series airing this year. Then you will got more of him as "The Punisher".

No, I love that look.

I don't think it makes you weird, it makes sense that you'd be more attached to the look we spent most of the season with as opposed to the one we barely caught a glimpse of at the end. Same thing with the haircut, dude was buzzed for most of the show then he shows up with longer brushed back hair up top. I get it, the Vimal sculpt captured that look beautifully.

That Minigun... IMFDB says it's an M134. But Frank has no power source for it, which was also the goof in Predator and T2.

The XM133 variant is gas operated, and therefore requires no power source.

Anyone know off hand if the two weapons are visually identical? (Research will have to wait until tomorrow!)

Wouldn't to display Frank making a schoolboy error? :lol

He never used it in the show did he? If I remember right he just walked away from his house with it.
