Finally got mine about where I want it... for today anyway...

Got mine in the exact same pose. I call it the 'best of both worlds' look. I'd love to share pics of my collection and all the futzing I've done..but pretty pointless when all have is my phone. It's funny how you can use a phone to take a picture of your baby, a car, some uneaten food at a booth next to you, roadkill; and it all looks so spectacular..but 1/6 figures get real camera shy when it's not a real camera.

Unreal Customs is almost done with my wired cape for my custom ANH version 1 Vader. I also found a Shaw Vader head sculpt from SideShow's ROTJ Vader on eBay for $60, should arrive sometime next week. I'll have so many posing options for Vader it's makin' me dizzy.

Has anyone tried this cape/tunic set? It seems like most people arenā€™t happy with the stock tunic and capes but this seems like a good material and drapes nicely.

I want to get a hold of an ANH or RO belt and chest box. If anyone is selling let me know.

Tons of great mods here; I know I'll be doing some of them, and a few of my own.

Now that I finally have what i'm sure is the best ANH Vader available, (and, being a sculptor) there's one mod that I've wanted and planned to do for many years: to sculpt a custom David Prowse head. I'm sure I'll need to do something with the neck peg to make both the head and the helmet fit by themselves, but that'll be minor. The idea of honoring David Prowse is important to me, even if Georgie won't. If there's enough interest, I might even sell them. Here's a sample of my head-sculpting skills: Raza from IRONMAN.

Does anyone know how to get the Hot Toys Vader Head onto a SSC RotJ Vader body? Is it just a matter of swapping the neck plug and repainting it black? Which neck plug should I buy? Thanks.

I bought the Man of Steel neck peg.

Which helmet are you using? I had the ANH.

ESB Vader Mod....

After trying various Vader parts, this seems to give him the ESB/ROTJ proportions and silhouette...

*Almost all parts, unless noted are HT ESB...

* Body- cut down the sides of the rubber upper torso, allowing the arms to go to his side more. Added foam padding under the pecs - giving him that barrel chest look.

*Body Suit and Vest V1 ANH, more padding and in my opinion better quality.

* Chest box, sideshow ROTJ- removed sideshow belt, power box attached to the back with double side tape.

*chest/shoulder armor R1, I prefer this sculpt and the way it sits on the chest. Double sided tape added to keep in place.

*I also steamed the tunic and cape.

very nice. I did the same but used a mod RO body with the V1 arms and lower legs. I used the Kaiyodo chest plate as the shoulder bells not as stiff as the ESB shoulder bells are. I`m using the Hurricane Kaiyodo mask he did up for me as I cant get past those bug eye`s on the ESB vader mask. I did use the SSC ROTJ Vader Dlx belt as it has the switch to turn both of the boxes on instead of having to turn them both on manually. I will take a pic when I get a chance. did hav enough vader parts to make a ROTJ vader.
