The leather upper has two leather wrist sections that are lightly glued to the sleeve of the leather jacket. One of them came off and was under the plastic gauntlet. While changing hands I noticed the leather wrist section on there & tried it without the plastic gauntlet and preferred it to the plastic gauntlet over the fabric long sleeve. IMG_1567.jpg you'll need to separate the leather gauntlet wrist section from the leather jacket, but mine came apart on it's own so it's probably not too difficult.

The newly liberated leather gauntlets could also be used to help stabilize the plastic gauntlets so they won't slide as easy.

Gunner arrived, very cool figure. Will take pics later this week. I also intend to display it with an unusual piece in his hands, but it kinda belongs there I guess. And no, it's not his laser noodle :D

I finally opened mine today, it really is a cool figure.

Nice pic. That helmet is super-gloss.

Hmm... do I want to know what a "laser noodle" is?:lol

So I'm still on the fence about this one. My local collectibles store has one still and it looks really cool but I just don't know if I need it. Any suggestions from those that have one?

If you want it in your collection, then buy it. If you don't, then pass on it. It's your money and your decision.

That's very true, it is my decision in the end. The figure looks really good and obviously you like and enjoy yours. By chance do you have any pics of your collection with it displayed next to other figures?

I feel like mine, due to space, is a placeholder for some other Death Star figures like Tarkin and the Death Star Trooper. I used one of those $50 coupons on him, was an impulse purchase for sure. Really nice looking though and I would likely keep if I had the space as he looks really unique--I would likely take it over a TIE Pilot for that reason (grouping them together since they're both all-black and are secondary troopers).

I bought two. Because these dudes are ****ing rad.

That's the spirit!!

Sorry, not yet. I'm still re-arranging my collection, the pics shown in the collection thread in my signature are not accurate anymore. The thing is that this is a very nice figure, but is a niche one. For me it is important because it is within my Original Trilogy Imperials focus. But otherwise this is no Han, Luke, Leia, Ben or Vader, not even a Stormie. Still very neat and different collectible
