This book was up for sale earlier last year, then was taken down (in my region) for some reason ? Now I just saw this and see that it is exactly what I wanted. I think there may have been 2 versions ??

In any case, I have all the Art Of books. Love looking through the concept art, and reading all the behind the scenes info.

Also great inspiration for potential custom figures.

My regular Jyn Erso deluxe is one of my favorite figures. Such an amazing release with so many outfit options. Would like the imperial disguise one

They really need to get moving if they are going to release 2 Mando Fett versions now (Monk Fett and old armour Fett), and then another presumably new armour Fett for "The Book of Fett".

That's a lot of "Fett"

They really need to get moving if they are going to release 2 Mando Fett versions now (Monk Fett and old armour Fett), and then another presumably new armour Fett for "The Book of Fett".

That's a lot of "Fett"

My guess is they pass on Monk Fett to avoid the head sculpt and know that battered Fett and new paint job Fett will sell like Hot Cakes. I wish for a deluxe of any combination of the three... or all three, in which case I would order three figures! Good lord, what am I even asking for?

I pre-ordered it on Amazon it was supposed to come last month but Amazon emailed me saying they couldn't deliver it and they had no ETA for more copies, a month later and still nothing so just cancelled it

Sounds like a somewhat similar experience to me. But seeing that it in fact is available, and just looking at that video gave me renewed interest. One international book shop here had it on pre-order so I pre-ordered. But Amazon is a pretty good indicator though unfortunately.

It's interesting that it's the headsculpts which are Hot Toys main strength, but yet also their achilles heel.

In that they can't / won't make otherwise simple, and I would imagine popular figures, like Monk Fett only because of the sculpt.

Sure there will be a sculpt for the Book of Mando Fett hopefully, but will they go back and do a Monk Fett, I doubt it. I would love if they did, but I guess it'll end up being a custom job.

Missed the december realese over at Amazon but looking at the products page, it seems more are coming late january/early february.

Cowards. No Cara Dune yet. HT will probably hide behind Boba's skirt and give us Mando Boba with no head sculpt. Which I will definitely buy, but geez HT should just talk to Hasbro who is churning out little tiny heads that are remarkably accurate.

I think it's more investment versus profit in the case of Fett. He'll sell well with or without a head sculpt. The only reason I think there's a chance is that they already have a Temura sculpt for Jango and Cody and could re-use most of that with some light work. Still don't think we'll see it but like the odds better than Cara and Greef at this point.

I think it's not too likely that we will see [as someone in here so aptly named him] Bathroba Fett. If we did, I would order him immediately though.

However Battle-Damage Fett is a must. I want him with a headsculpt, but will take him without.

Post-Sherwin-Williams-Run Fett is also a must, but him I will take without a headsculpt; I dont really expect him to have one, tbh.

I am still relishing the comeuppance of those who screamed at everyone that 110%, absolutely, positively, no-questions-allowed FOR! SURE! that T. Morrison was going to appear in "Mandalorian" as Captain Rex, because ~no way~ was that lame-o Boba Fett going to appear, nosirree, nope that was not gonna happen. That would be completely inappropriate, because if Ahsoka appeared, Rex HAD TO appear, as if they were Siamese twins joined at the hip. And it would just be stupid, foolish! Nonsensical! For Fett to appear in a show about..... bounty hunters.

Pretty rich.

This would be my guess too. Or at the very least maybe they do it in reverse order and do acid head Fett last just so folks don't get "crazy" and expect a head sculpt with the armored releases.

I just started watching Rebels and I?m really liking it. Hope one day HT tackles it.

I'm still on season 3 of Clone Wars but already looking forward to Rebels.

I'm assume by season 7 Ahsoka looks older than she does upto season 3. The HT figure definitely looks more grown up that the Ahsoka I've seen so far.

Wish they'd hurry up and put the Clones Kenobi up for pre-order.

Early concept art showed rex with ahsoka. We'll probably still get him in the Ahsoka show.
