I wish they would start shipping some of those preorders. It's not like anything else seems to be coming out right now so hopefully some of those far off release dates will get bumped up early.

So, hands up, how many people in here (other than Malgus) want to see Rian Johnson directing an episode of The Mandalorian. I for one would welcome shirtless Mandos, Din throwing Grogu over his shoulder, space horses, and Boba Fett being a complete ***** hiding away cowering in Jabba's Palace. Just imagine the subverting of expectations that could happen?! Possibilities galore.

Just in case anyone didn't realise that was sarcasm if they ever let this twonk anywhere near The Mandalorian I'm checking out of Disney Star Wars for good. God, I hate this smug little prick so much.

This is why I don't want a Luke series. None of those ****ers can be trusted. It's shocking to me that we got something as great as the first two seasons of The Mandalorian in the present day. The only explanation is Favreau. That's why I'm buying all the figures of the show now, because I'm not optimistic about what the future holds.

I?m just clinging to the hope that Favreau will win this war over Kathleen the Destroyer. And yes I do see it as a war between the powers that be. No way is she happy about the influence Favreau has gained among the fans and seemingly over Star Wars in general. That?s why I think they?ve given her the High Republic, her dirty fingers are all over it. Placate her (and those fans that joined the fanbase in 2015... for obvious reasons) with that while Favreau, Filoni, and Feige (from the shadows) plot the real future of Star Wars. Sometimes I think some so-called fans love Kathleen Kennedy, Rian Johnson and his crap film more than they do the well-being and future of Star Wars. Just check out some of the regular beauts over on Reddit some time, I?ll warn you though it?s nauseating.

That guy has one hell of an ego on him. Granted he made a couple of great episodes of Breaking Bad, and Looper wasn?t half bad. Everything else he?s done, including Brick and Knives Out, has been pretentious rubbish. Jeremy Jahns summed him up best when he said ?Rian Johnson?s films are nowhere near as clever and good as he thinks they are?. I won?t mix words, I hate the guy?s guts, and I strongly dislike Kathleen for ever allowing him to do what he did in the first place to Star Wars.

But yeah, otherwise that's a "no" from me, dawg. Luckily I think Johnson will not be allowed within 1 parsec of the Mandalorian set, as far as working on it. He's had his chance, and its time to let folk who know what they're doing have a turn. ALL the turns, to be blunt.

I get the hatred for him. I think he's overrated too. Looper isn't bad, who cares if he directed a few episodes of Breaking Bad.

Even Nolan is fallible, Tenet is weak sauce.

Each to their own I guess. I thought Knives Out was one of the unfunniest, most unnecessarily convoluted films I?ve seen in a long time. With a terrible waste of great acting talent. Much like another Rian Johnson film I can think of. Anyway, glad you liked it and saw it differently from me, maybe my bias allowed me not to enjoy it. Okay, I?ll drop the Rian Johnson rant now, it?s just every time I see that smug little troll?s face attached to one of these articles or quotes it grinds me the wrong way.

So yeah, predictions for the Bad Batch. Funnily enough, much like Hoody and I were discussing earlier, I think they?ll make a good amount of figures (probably more crossover figures) from this maybe without even touching any of the Bad Batch themselves.

1) Fennec (could be for any of the shows)
2) Wolffe
3) Tarkin re-release
4) Those white prototype Dark Trooper things from the trailer. Not sure of name.
5) ROTS red robed Sidious
6) Cody (new dark armour)
7) Mace Windu (I?m convinced he?s in it)

Let's not let the trash that is Rian Johnson further infect this thread. Now, man that Tusken Raider looks really good. That's why Favreau is awesome, bringing the background characters/species into the spotlight and giving them some time to shine. It will be very interesting what Book of Boba Fett brings along with the new? direction of Mando S3. That weathering on Fett's armor is too cool for school. Think I'll just take the fat suit off and then it's gold.

Yep watch them bring in a Hammerhead or one of the other aliens into a slightly more prominent role into one of the shows next ! There's certainly enough of them to choose from !

I'd welcome Rian Johnson to direct an episode, he's a skilled director but shouldn't of been given the keys to TLJ. ST unfortunately had a ton of issues but not having a concrete story for each episode done before making the first film is definitely up there as one of the biggest issues.

None of that is happening. There is no war going on. I'd recommend following some of the respectful and well-known leakers and not watching a bunch of random YouTube clickbait videos.
