I always liked the theory that Palpatine drained the life out of her to give life to Darth Vader. Not sure if that was rubbished. Still, I love the idea and that’s what happened in my head canon.

The birth of Vader is juxtaposed with the death of Padme. Whether it was Palpy Sith sorcery or not it was still a brilliant way to “kill” Anakin and Padme. The heroes we watched since Naboo have given way, sacrificed for the emergence of the most iconic villain in Star Wars.

If I ran HT such behavior would get that figure punted to the back of the line, but I'm evil like that.

The dark side is strong with this one. Alanneh's consistent (and persistent) though, I'll give her that.

Okay, let's assume Fennec, Cobb Vanth, Koska, and Axe Woves all see release in the next few months. Are we to assume Hot Toys will be finished with the Mando line, or are there more surprises waiting? It was interesting how Bill Burr said in a recent interview that he'd been having facial scans for toys. That leads me to believe we'll be getting a Mayfeld figure soon, either for Mando or Book of Boba (if he cameos as was suggested a while back).

Are these the next line of Mando figures in the waiting?

For some reason?! Wash your mouth out. You need no other reason than Olyphant being the coolest man on Earth, other than Billy Bob Thornton... obviously. As for the bike, it's unlikely they'll make it, however they're clearly turning their hand to Star Wars vehicles atm so it's not totally outside the realm of possibility. If they do make it then the chances are good for a little Ani with speeder at some point

Yeah, Mayfeld must be turning up in something else soon. I don't see why he'd only just have had facial scans for toys if it was linked to Mando season 2 merchandise. Surely it's for something upcoming

It would be great if they were to release that X-Wing pilot just for the flight suit and gear.

I would most likely pick up a loose Mayfeld noggin and plop it on the Transport Trooper.

The Transport Trooper is one of the only figures I regret ordering. I think I did it in the hope that some company would make a Bill Burr hs, or that Hot Toys would release a Mando with Din Djarin hs. Now we've got the latter I can't make my mind up whether to use it with the Transport Trooper or on the TMS015. First World problems, eh.

Aren't facial scans just a Hasbro toy thing? In this list, I'd only pickup Artoo. I think it's time to upgrade my Sideshow version.

I know Trapper Wolffe has a Black Series figure coming but I would be shocked to see a Hot Toys one considering they never even dropped any of the other pilots, i.e. Poe, Wedge, Blue Leader, etc.

Yeah I don't think HT uses scans for anything really, I'm pretty sure they make everything from scratch just using references, since they consider it art.

I just thought that it perhaps indicated a push from toy companies for more Mayfeld merch. That would signal to me that he's going to have more of an important role in a show down the road. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part. Still, I find it hilarious that Bill Burr of all people is having facial scans for Star Wars toys. The irony of that.

Yeah that whole Tony Stank head sculpt recall has raised the bar on all sculpts at the moment, which is great for us. Look at that Cyborg sculpt. Perfect !!

A pièce de résistance Luke would be very cool. I'd actually prefer a Taun Taun Luke over essentially a re-release Bespin Luke. His outfit is pretty vanilla boring there really.

Actually thinking about it, a Taun Taun Luke would be the perfect team project for Hot Toys and Sideshow. Hot Toys do Luke and SS re-issue the Taun Taun. Win-win !!

The Transport Trooper is one of the only figures I regret ordering. I think I did it in the hope that some company would make a Bill Burr hs, or that Hot Toys would release a Mando with Din Djarin hs. Now we've got the latter I can't make my mind up whether to use it with the Transport Trooper or on the TMS015. First World problems, eh.

I pre-ordered the Transport Trooper with the same idea as you, thinking a custom Bill Burr sculpt would be offered by someone. But you've got a good idea regarding getting a spare Din sculpt to plop on the Trooper.
