Really don't like that hat. Reminds me too much of Walter White ! Animated looks way better.

Sure I get it, if it's too big it'll flop around when he's in action too much I guess.

I think he'd look stupid with a massive hat in live action, some things just don't work as well. For a live action Cad Bane I think what we got is pretty much what I would have expected. I wouldn't change anything about it myself.

Depends what you're used to I guess. I'm just so used to seeing him with that slightly larger hat it took me out of the moment.

But one look they nailed was this guy. Holy crap !!

I couldn't believe how realistic he looked. Only when speaking it looked a little bit off sometimes, but for 99% of the time he looked absolutely great. They have come a long way since Rogue One.

There's things I like and don't like about the show. It's given us some great moments while being... uneven at best in other ways.

But this episode made me think they could've saved themselves a lot of trouble by calling the show something else.

Since it honestly feels more like an anthology series at this point, I would've called it Tales of the Bounty Hunters and reworked each episode to focus on a different bounty hunter with Boba Fett tying the narrative together.

The general story could be done similarly overall, just with an opening episode to set up the premise, then Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Black Krrsantan, Din Djarin, and Cad Bane each get episodes from their perspectives, then the finale.

Could've even remade the book cover with the characters.

The more I look at it the more I like the hat. It's fine, and I like the added detail they went with. It will make things easier on HT too, I kinda doubt the hat will be removable. Should be a really sharp looking figure.

Would anyone want a HT Pyke? Think about the money it would take for this army builder

Yeah I definitely think it would have worked better if some of these side stories were set up earlier on. Because right now it feels like it's turned into a completely different show.

And even though I obviously prefer the new direction it's taken, I can't help but still feel annoyed at how they've treated Boba Fett during all this. First by making him a dim-witted wimp, and then by turning him into a supporting character on his own series.

Yeah this was a massive improvement over the last appearance, and thankfully I didn't have to struggle as much to see Luke in there.

Only thing I found a bit distracting was the hair. They tried to copy his distinctive ROTJ style but oftentimes it just didn't look right and came across like an obvious wig. Lol

probably not, the oversized hat from Clone Wars era was drastically resized to form his new look during Empire regime if you did pay attention to the Bad Batch.

Yeah I know. I didn't like that look either in the Bad Batch.

Doesn't need to be massive, but just a little bigger than what we have. Maybe half a brim size again.

I'm reasonably happy with Cad Bane although he really should have been a darker shade of blue and maybe less fat in the face/nose region. As far as Luke goes, for the most part it looked great. All the more so when you remember this is a TV show. Not a massive budget movie but TV.

Honestly with that new actor I think they could have almost ditched the CGI completely. He looks more like Hamill than the previous CG version looked in S2. Only thing they would need to do is dub over Hamill's voice, and I'd have no problem at all buying him as Luke.
