I wasn't sure if I missed it but what would the second costume be. Is it a battle-damaged or Dagobah version? If it was something like that It would be kind of weird to display before and after being run through the ringer. It seems like it would make more sense to have a second body if something like the X-wing suit was included.

From what it looks like its just a "clean" and "battle damaged" versions of the fatigues.

Then get ready to display weird. :lol

HT should really include the Dagobah option. All it would require is Luke to be on a muscle body, a weathered tank-top under his coat, and a backpack accessory. Already stoked by what I've seen so far, but those additions seem like a no brainer to me.

He does have a tanktop.

I like how you can see the glue they used to stick the head on the body.

I'm pretty sure everything SS and HT showed off at SDCC was finished the day before the show started. Grievous was held together with glue. SilentSurfer and Trevolver both mentioned how they were still working on stuff right before the show. . . I'm not surprised it's taking a long time to see pic + spec. I doubt that was even the final product at the show.

Nothing new. Most of the products they showcase there, unless they say otherwise, are the prototypes.

Like Nam said, it's a common thing. You often see figs held together with hot glue at the con. I remember way back when Snow Bunny Padme was displayed, she wore a gloss white vinyl suit and her hands kept falling off. I think they just kept hot glueing them on. :lol

Its cool though cause you get to see just how rough some of the prototypes are.

Well, I'm thinking it's cool cause you get to see one of the steps in the process before the production piece. We often don't see much of the process. Would be nice to see more of it from time to time as the evolution of the figures are cool to see.

I'm fully aware that prototypes are what are showed off at shows. My comment was pointed towards those who grow increasingly impatient and keep asking for pre-orders and official pics, when all the evidence indicates the figure (prototype) wasn't even 'done' yet, as in not even ready for approvals yet. You're not going to show Lucasfilm a figure with glue seeping out of it's edges and ask them to approve it for production.

Plus, it might end up looking much worse after approval. Look what happened with Mace and Bespin Luke. :(
