yup, he sold out at sideshow last night REMARKABLY fast. was gone before teh newsletter even went up. 349.99 is a little steep, but it's not that bad with flexpay.

I think BBTS still has him at 399.99, and most ebay sellers are asking 449.99

Are you 'avin a laff?

...Is he 'avin a laff?

...for the record, yes, I do know that you're all 'avin a laff.

I cant wait when price is shown and people blow a fuse.

High Ht toys price + double figure+ expensive SW fee + SS fee since they have the 1/6 contract + you order through SS= EXPENSIVE

Still not sold on Lukes face. Neither head looks like him. MH is a pretty ugly guy, and the HT sculpts look like a pretty boy.

Im gonna order him for the sakes of helping the line grow. Maybe in a year to year and a half when this comes out, it might look good.

This might be Toy Anxiety's most successful part-out ever.

I can't imagine this being anywhere under $350 considering Indy is $250 and basically is 1 figure plus a robe, turban and idol pedestal (which isn't any different than than the piece included with HT Spider Man for $150).

Luke is like the Indy set plus another full figure.

I think that ( unfortunately) since indy is 250 for 2 figures with one body, a price of 299-329 is a realistic range for this figure.

THANKFULLY this will be only 1-2 figures a year.

I don't care about their fees, when i buy a burger i don't wanna know how much they paid the butcher & the meat processing fee i just want the burger at a reasonable price.

Anymore than $310 is un-reasonable, they are basically two of the same figure ony with a different HS, stump and a roughed-up duplicate of the outfit

It may be expensive...but consider this, the recent medicom UU luke skywalker 1/6 ( one figure, no extras) was $300. If you think you are going to get two figures, the cloud city base, ect... for less then $300, I think we are dreaming. The sad truth is even at $399, this will sell fairly quickly.

We'll find out soon what we'll be up for but I think it'll be $399 or more, easily. Jack Joker is $265, do the maths.

I just want to see if the sculpts were improved on.:peace

Given that HT has already confirmed that they are doing more SW if it's that high priced I'll gladly sit out. Someone trying to recoup their funds will sell off one with barebones and with shops like Toy Anxiety and eBay of course I could get just enough to display one. The list of who I'd be willing to pay that much for is short but I'd be happy displaying one of the versions of this with the basic stand.

The cash-cow monster that the Star Wars license is... HT will have no problem selling these and at hight prices if they like.

Not matter what HT decides to charge, no matter how much you all gripe, you will all cave when the time comes. I've seen it time and time again, since the whining began over Sideshow Star Wars figures going up from $49.99 to $54.99.

The $300 barrier will be smashed (just as the $200 barrier was). If not with Luke, then with the next one.

That's my opinion, if they keep the price at a point people call a bargain or similar then they'll make more in the long run with people buying more than one figure.

If they charge too much people may skip this one for a different version Luke or get only this one instead of each future version or other character that comes along
