The recent human sculpts have had better paintwork... but yeah, still far behind what HT is doing. I'd much prefer Sideshow put their efforts in improving the paintwork rather than silly things like lightsabers that light up.

Absolutely!:exactly:

They're getting better, but still not up to HT standards. And don't HT eyes use decals or something? I recall someone speculating about that. That sounds ingenious since it cuts out the paint slop and is probably easier to get the eyes going the same direction.

Now that I have the Enterbay Scarface, the paint on all of my Hot Toys pales in comparison. This figure from what I can see is included.
To much peripheral crap for the money rather than paint work that could absolutely make the sculpts scream Mark Hamill.

Is this out overseas already? What's next for DX SW in Hot Toys releases?

Yeah if you really look at the eyes, it would be almost impossible to paint that level of detail and they are too symetrical to be done by hand. Wish I had that ability...

Those Enterbay Scarface figures are pretty magnificent and not a bad price, either, for the level of realism ($200.00, IIRC). At the same time, I still think the HT Luke looks really good and can't see needing a more definitive one for my purposes.

Well, I'm paid in full now... I wonder if this will be in hand before Batman and the Joker?

Are you? I don't believe I've been charged anything other than the down payment. Order on sideshow says processing still too, yours?

I ordered through AE. They charged me 30 for the down payment and I just called and paid for the balance. I like know that these things as bought and paid for.

You and I think very much alike on all things other than Five Guys Hamburgers, Flosi.
