I'd say Tatooine Luke is the best representation of Luke Skywalker, but that's just my opinion.

The best you can do is pick a favorite. There isn't one of those incarnations that is any more iconic than the other.

I like Jedi Luke the best, but Empire Strikes Back is my favorite film. Tough choice if I had to choose one.

Empire is my favorite film as well, but Tatooine Luke might be the one I like most. It's hard to say. Hoth Luke is pretty awesome too.

As far as iconic goes, I think I'd have to give that to farmboy Luke. When non-Star Wars fans or casual fans think of Star Wars, that's probably the image of Luke that pops into their minds.

But I don't think the iconic version is necessarily the version that most represents the character. It does have the most familiar appeal, but there's something it lacks which the others don't. I think the other versions have similar shortcomings. There's nothing wrong with any one incarnation, but each one is integral and the character isn't there without each of them.
Jedi Luke is probably the most complete one because it is the character at his most complete. The only problem is that as a Jedi, he had resolved the conflict that defined him from Tatooine to Bespin. He's no longer the character he was for 2/3 of the saga.
Bespin Luke is the conflict at its most perilous. Tatooine Luke is the conflict at it's most nascent. Rebel Pilot Luke is his strongest vantage point in the conflict. Hoth Luke is his blind side.
I haven't really figured out Endor Luke.

I wonder if HT will make tatooine or jedi luke
Your idea to BD head in bespin and normal in head in tatooine is great
but I'm more interested to have normal head in both version, which need an extra one from DX bespin

Looks pretty bad, clothes are acceptable (Edit: I changed my mind, they aren't. The SS Tatooine clothes are better). The lightsaber looks cool though. It's up to you, if you like it then get it? I'll go for the Bespin Luke.

That is not a substantial enough improvement over the Hasbro let alone Sideshow to warrant $300. Plastic boots, really?

To pick one is a really tough choice. But after several disappointing Sideshow Lukes, the Hot Toys Bespin is the one I'm going for. At the current release pace it will be years before we get another HT Luke.
