Ya, 1/6 collecting is really tailored more towards collectors who can afford to shell out at least about $200 a month average IMO. Maybe even less if you are very selective. I'm personally more than double that average which I feel is very good for someone of my age. But there's all sorts of collectors here. You'll get the life size collectors, legendary format guys, and for 1/6 the custom guys who can spend over $1000 for awesome Rainman figures or $1200 for just a Hendrix 1/6 guitar.

You know you're going to receive the figure, open the box and end up keeping it.

I'm probably going to sell the normal version and keep the BD one. They are priced well, good value and all but I won't display both and the money made from selling one off will just go to another figure.

I think the BD version is awesome.

HT catalog says Aug. SS says OCT. I wonder why the 2 month gap. HT catalog has been pretty accurate so far.

Of course the bigger question is why the delay from May. (Head-sculpt tweak i guess, which i was fine to begin with)

Thank the maker that this figure went up for sale last year. If it was today you can bet he'd be closer to $350. If not higher! Also if the trend with these 1/6 figures keeps up a delay will only mean something has been changed but not for the better. Thoughts?

Obviously there's a change, it's a 6 month delay. I say it will be for the better like Supes.

Maybe maybe not. This is one hell of a package. Two dolls and a light up environment for 300 bucks. I think they're trying hard to maintain reasonable costs with this and I appreciate it because this is one of the most anticipated figures (for me) ever.

It is a great deal for the $300 price tag.

When this first went up for pre-order my plan was to sell one of them, but then I had decided that Im going to keep the whole setup. The Battle Damaged Version will be getting displayed in my "Star Wars Section with Vader (and Carbon Freezing Chamber whenever they get that out) and the clean version will go on my main "Top 10 Movie Characters" shelf above my TV with Indy, Sparrow, T-800, Predator ect.


Really hope for some more SW reveals at SDCC this year!
