Try as I might, I can't see an iota of Hamill in the clean. I can a little in the BD but that was closer in the proto, too.

these pics appear to be from the same display as the smaller pic -- that's the box behind him after all -- I think all the light from below - if any is accentuating the gap between the skin and the "eyeballs" making it look like he's wearing a mask...kinda like the puppets in Team America, or those American Girl dolls...

BTW, I am at peace with the HT Indy figure that I derided from the get go. I still think it's a terrible likeness, compounded by the guyliner. But in the end I'm kinda glad I have the figure. I'm mostly annoyed that the cost was so much for the sub-par sculpt.

I do too... It's damn far from perfect, so I do understand why people who only want one perfect Indy in their collection would be pissed. I have 6 Indys, so it's just part of the collection... Enzio body did help.

Anyway, I'm buying Luke, regardless.

f-uped sculpt or not, peeps will buy it. Look at indy.

Its not even the sculpt so much that's the problem, its the clothing! Awful stitching, cheap arse material, the fit is bad (hanging off the body)

What happened to the nice soft fabric in the proto photo's?

Eh, I don't know if SSC tailoring is that bad, to be honest. It reminds me of Barbie level clothing.

Stitching does look pretty much the same as proto though.

I was planning to get the beat-up version of this Luke once parted out. But now I wonder which sculpt will actually be the better one. Perhaps I'll be getting the clean after all.

Both look strange in the latest pics: the clean one looks like a mannequin and the beat-up version looks like Luke in Beiber gear. Not sure I'll be able to get that reference out of my head. Ever.
