What is your point? To anyone outside this board and community they are dolls toys or useless pieces of plastic. Some of them are as much as a car payment! Yes it's a hobby and yes we all love it but call it what it is. Don't try to justify it to yourself because your ashamed of telling people what you like. Embrace it proudly without fear!

Wow. You missed the point doubly so. :lol

Adjusted the color levels to make up for the horrendous lighting.

I didn't change anything except the color balance to bring it back to what should be the correct skin tone.

It's still a step down from the prototype, but not near as awful.

Consoling myself with this pic. Not as bad as I remembered.

I still love my Jedi Luke. With a bit of pelvis padding, new paint work, and his cloak on he stands up next to any HT fig after all these years.

Those rebelscum/ctr pics are a wonderful resource (and very professionally done) but they often make figures look a whole lot worse than they are.

I write novels. I justify my collectibles by telling myself they're there for inspiration.

Alternately, you could argue that they're artwork.

Do you actually play with your "toys?" I mean, hold one in one hand, another in the other and make "Pew! Pew! I got you!" noises?

Um.......... yes?

Then yours are toys.

I'm OUT! and I'm PROUD! Sing it from the roof tops brother and sing it LOUD!

I think it looks more like post-accident Hamill than the proto does...

Yup. I don't know what everyone else is seeing in the proto. But that thing was way too pretty to be Hamill. The pic sucks, yes, but I think the newer sculpt resemble Hamill a little more that the proto. Now it's not on point or anything so don't anyone get carried away but I think it's closer. I don't like what the PERS is doing to the sculpt but better pics will illustrate better whats going on.

Having said that, I don't think were going to see any new pic until this thing ships. :(

I just fell on the floor after reading this comment, really Pix you believe that?

I think you may be :cuckoo: or just :cuckoo: from this thread.

No way IMO that is anywhere near the quality of HTs.

Whats all this "it's a toy" business. Just because it's a toy doesn't mean it should'nt be worth the money I paid for it :slap

"Here's your new Porche sir, our factory was closed for the long weekend so we got the children at the local school to paint it with oil paints"

"What.. but....you can't..?"

"Sir, its a CAR, it's meant to be driven, not looked at, now where's your $170,000 we have lots of these to sell"

Different strokes for different folks I guess. Do you own Jedi Luke? Did you have him repainted by a master, futz'd with skill, and looking generally pretty bad ass? No? Then STFU. :1-1:
