In case anyone failed to read between the lines, there were some very interesting things just implied by OMG.

Maybe I am reading too much into things, but he seemed to imply two things:

A. He has the figure.

B. He is very impressed with it.

But he seems to be under some kind of embargo prohibiting him from discussing it. More than likely until the release next week.

Yeah i'm thinking SS gets to unveil this guy first.

It should also be pointed out that the last figure released as part of Sideshow's shared licence with Hot Toys was Indiana Jones.

Sideshow started processing orders on the 17th of October. The first in hand pics were revealed on the 13th and OMG's pics didn't go up until the 14th.

And, unlike some people have indicated, this issue with Indy was not a suddenly horrible production figure that fell way short of the prototype, but that people were never happy with the sculpt and expected Hot Toys to change it and got then upset when he was finally released and it turned out they had not.

That's partially true. Unfortunately, the other side of it was that HT was insisting that they had indeed "fixed" the sculpt and that we would all love it, and that all the figures we were seeing in the shows were just prototypes.
