HT never said they made any changes.

No, but they said "Indiana Jones fans do not worry" in regards to the dodgy pics posted online. That does give the impression that either the pics were incorrect or the sculpt would be improved ( at that point there was no way it could have been charged).

And we know what happened next..

I thought about him but then I look at my Keaton Bats and think , you just can't get any better than that.....

He'd look like ass next to the 89ers.

Yeah he looks like complete ass here.

Not trying to feed the conspiracy but has it always said "Please Note - Prototype Shown" above the pictures of the figure on Sideshow's site?

I do have Mr 89 and now I will have Mr 12 as well! They will be friends :1-1:

You should really think again.

NOW back to Mr Skywalker!

Can you point me to a Facebook post or news item from Hot Toys where they addressed people's concerns about photos of Indiana Jones??

I dont think HT ever addressed it. I believe it was Arnie Kim who responded via Facebook to his fans to "Not Worry" and that he was hard at work to "bring us the best 1:6 scale Indy blah blah".

While not perefct, I would say the finished HT Indy was the "Best" 1:6 scale Indy ever made. Had SS's paint been better, theirs may have been the best.

Technically, he was right, even if many were disappointed.

Well, that's just what I'm trying to get to the bottom of. I see a lot of people just outright making things up and starting rumors and hoping for certain things. And then over time it turns into "HT said they were going to fix it and they never did." And people get all butt-hurt about what HT never said.

That's the whole thing that gets me is the HT never SAYS anything, they just produce it, then give it to bloggers and say "Here are nice photos by bloggers" That's all. But then, people think they "SAY" all this other stuff. They get hit from both sides. They never say what's going on, so people get mad at them for that, but then people start rumors about what they (don't) say, and that gets turned into fact, then people get mad when these false facts don't turn out to be true.

:dunno

I would say that is debatable. Sure its good and Im happy with it, but I would never want him to do another Harrison Ford release again. (Han Solo DX or any future Indy release, he can stay the hell away from it.)

Thats why I dont jump up and down when I hear this and that about something. Unless I read it on the actual Hot Toys facebook/website or in a HT/Howard Chan Interview its moot.

Can you write me a dissertation on the filing and recording of information on the Internet. Head over to the Indy thread and ask some of the more experienced Indy collectors what exactly was said. What you don't believe that now?

:lol
