Harrison Ford has always been a notoriously difficult likeness to capture. I honestly think the recessed PERS hurt the likeness on the Indy sculpt more than anything. I have seen mods where people have fixed the gap and ensuing "guyliner" and the likeness looks much much better.

The figure does look very good, as the prototype did. But I still don't see much Hamill in that clean sculpt. It's like an idealized version of him. Admittedly, that's a hell of a lot more desirable than the weird, almost troll-ish looking Indiana Jones sculpt we got.

I checked yesterday, and read Luke was sculpted by Kojun, who was also responsible for DX06 Jack Sparrow.

Well said, Khev. THE hero from THE film of THE property that really started it all. It's likely that non of us would even collect action figures if not for Star Wars.

On a side note, it doesn't look as if this sculpt will work for Jedi Luke, IMO. Maybe with the hood up?... Or with some custom sculpted hair, perhaps?

They look to be some kind of pleather maybe? I don't know why but I assumed they'd be some sort of cloth material. I'm going to geek out on all the details of this figure once I ahve it in hand, that's for sure.

Those other figures aren't Luke Skywalker though. Therein lies the difference.

I find it almost impossible putting my figures in order of likeability (apart from placing DX05 Indy last!) because they all represent something different.

The three POTA gorillas will always be the pinnacle of my 1/6 ape collection, until something comes along that's better.

DX Jack Sparrow is a great pirate figure, even though I'm not a huge fan of that series.

Luke will just add to the cast of ESB, which is my faourite SW movie.

There are other Luke Skywalkers in the DX line? I thought it was just a bunch of lesser tier Batman, Terminator, and POTC figures.
