The sculpt appears to be a much closer likeness to a pre-accident Hamill than it does the post-accident Hamill. It's a good, not great sculpt in the wrong outfit.

Despite being from my favorite film in the trilogy, the Bespin look is one of my least favorite Luke appearance so I think I'll hold out for another version. Happy HT is working on the license now for sure though.

Its weird how this was the first SW figure I got as a kid. I will buy this one the day its released. It looks awesome!

Might as well get this one. With HT track record, we will a get 2 or 3 figures and that will be it. :lol

I dunno. Considering how many Iron Man and Predator figures HT has done, I would think Star Wars (which is a much bigger franchise) would be huge. Of course, we don't know what the details of their agreement with Sideshow are.

Not to mention Iron Man and Predator figures require minimal "retooling" between each new release.

The agreement is most likely going to be that HT gets to produce all the characters that Sideshow sucks at! :lol

I for one think this looks amazing. Luke is THE character that I wanted to be growing up (it was 6 million dollar man until Star Wars), and I totally loved ESB. He was gettin' all dirty trainin' and learnin' the force. He battled a Wampa, AT-AT's, Boba Fett, and Vader. He had several awesome outfits(more figure options), and my favorite of all the films has got to be the Bespin outfit. It's totally awesome. All kinds of gear on his belt, he has dirt and rips all over it, and he has a lightsaber AND a blaster....freakin sweet. Anyway, I'm sooo excited about this HT version of Bespin Luke. I only own 5 HT figures as of now but this DX Luke is a must for me! :)

While the HT likeness could be a hair better, it stomps the hell out of the MediBay abomination.

Girlish glee!!! :blissy

I just started looking over SDCC pictures, and this is an amazing surprise! Bespin Luke was always my favourite version when I was little. Unless it is over $300 I will buy it automatically.

Any word on whether or not the lightsaber lights up? Doubtful I know, but a fella can dream can't he?

Is there really an arguement about this? Are the last 70 pages worth of pictures imaginary?

:lol at Snake Eater, nienumb, and RIDDICK's avatars.

:duff

Don't you mean his removable headpiece? His neck is not even attached to his freakin' body! :lol Looks totally half-a$$ed displayed next to HT Luke! Poor Medicom...I'd feel worse for them if they didn't overcharge so much for their figures.

:lol

Are we thinking this MAY be end of the year?
