Like you I was quite apprehensive about this release at first, but it's good to see that this has turned out better than initially expected. Nobody wants these things turning out poorly so it's a bit disheartening when one has criticism and others jump on them like they want it to fail.

A couple of quick phone pics of set. I have never actually wanted a bigger selection of hands before, but it feels like it needs some.
The lights on the weather vane blink, which is very cool. But it's huge when assembled. Can't see how you could put a figure on it without securing it to wall/ceiling. There's a ton of modding fun to be had here boys. Shall we start the "customisation thread" now?

That's exactly it though mate. There was a gang mentality in here for anyone who posted negatively. I don't get why anyone would want this set to be a failure. But anyways moving on.

One side the Carbon Freezing chamber (too cool). The other side the "I am your Father" environment!!! I wonder if you can display a piece of the weather vane in Detolf and have Luke hold on to it like in this scene!!!

Is the vane secure on that stand?

I'd previously wondered whether it was just something used for promo shots, as the official specs only ever said "mounted onto the wall or ceiling".

That would have been great. Wish they would have done that.

But the piece of weather vane is from after he dropped down waiting for the Falcon to pick him up, so the second side would have had to be the Bespin Clouds!

Boba's is actually much nicer.

I have my Boba displayed with the Han in Carbonite SS Environment and gave his base to SS Vader at the moment. But Luke will be stealing it once he gets here.

I might have to buy another one...

It's secured at the smaller round base, and there is an Ikea style screw to wall section at the top. To be honest, unless you are going to actually hang Luke from it, it looks better in half, upside down.
