Is the vane secure on that stand?

I'd previously wondered whether it was just something used for promo shots, as the official specs only ever said "mounted onto the wall or ceiling".

I think Boba Fett / IG 88 set the bar to high for the Carbon Freezing Stand. Luke's looks cheap!! Way below par!!!

A couple of quick phone pics of set. I have never actually wanted a bigger selection of hands before, but it feels like it needs some.
The lights on the weather vane blink, which is very cool. But it's huge when assembled. Can't see how you could put a figure on it without securing it to wall/ceiling. There's a ton of modding fun to be had here boys. Shall we start the "customisation thread" now?

I've been more focused on the figure itself, but man HT makes a nice saber.

But the piece of weather vane is from after he dropped down waiting for the Falcon to pick him up, so the second side would have had to be the Bespin Clouds!

I know but the back drop would not be as tall unless it was printed vertical.

I wonder if you could half the length of the weather vane. Maybe then it could fit in the Detolf?? I was thinking of flipping the weather vain upside down and having BD Luke stand on it to duplicate the "I am your father scene". With his cut off hand tucked in. More powerful than just hanging around.

It's secured at the smaller round base, and there is an Ikea style screw to wall section at the top. To be honest, unless you are going to actually hang Luke from it, it looks better in half, upside down.

It does look good like that. And is reminsicent of...

I might try that, as I never intended to hang Luke from mine unless I could get the whole thing into a glass cabinet. And seeing as how tall it is, that's unlikely.

It's the eyes for me mate, but yeah, the clean hair looks cool on the BD head. What swings it for me is the clean sculpt looks a bit more neutral to pose.
I may pick up a second clean head and BD it myself.

Yup. I can respect someone with a differing opinion. But to gleefully stoke a fire, cry baby himself into retirement, and then come back to gloat is pretty pathetic. It's clear SSC got his figure out to him early to stop his whining.
