Possibly. Although like anything the first few always go for silly money. I can't see people having any trouble selling it for $50-$60 down the line though.

Depends how many of these they made. Probably a s### load.

If your thinking of selling it just do it straight off the bat. I'd probably keep mine if I were buying this though, it looks like one of the best bits about it.

Ingesting. What is this he's doing exactly? I would be more interested in seeing how he will clean up the mess that makes up the PT. Any chance he could keep Darth Maul around a little longer. He should have been to the PT what DV was to the OT. Vader should have taken him down in RotS. DM in an alternet universe is pretty bad @ss. To bad so sad that GL lost his story telling ability.

It's more of a colour correction, restoring original audio and some changes that work. With ANH it was stuff like Han shot first (again), Beru's original voice, fixing small inconsistencies with shots and even removing a fly from the screen.
He also added to the Tie Battle, made it ten times better.

With ESB, it's more of the same. Fixing things Lucas should have done for his 'vision'. Wobbly helmets and everything else. They aren't for everyone but until the originals come out in a good format it's a great representation of them, all be it at a slow speed.

ANH should get a HD re-release after ESB.

I know some of these hands are Luke specific but are the relaxed ones also? I really hate how HT hands are ginormous. These look a little smaller. If they are, Im going to pick up some extras so I can distribute them through the collection.

Hey Robbie, yes the hands are in good scale for a change, but not fantastic quality to be honest, very basic looking. So I would wait until you see them inhand before buying others to make sure you are happy with them.

Modding has begun, time for the sandpaper and paint.

Nice review Rory. Although I don't always agree on some of the things in the review I always like to read yours. It's nice to see someone be objective. It seems all over the place you see people praising whatever HT does in reviews. 5 out of 5 for that, 5 out of 5 for this. I see it a lot.

Let me guess, are you trying to get more articulation from the boots?

No, I think the soles are too big and toyish looking, the boots themselves are great but they need more weathering and messing up. Trickier than I thought because the material doesn't really soak water or paint.

To make the BD version as screen accurate as possible. And I want the two figures to look very different. As i want to put both on display?

First, sand paper and scalpel, snip all threads that give the scale away, then use acrylics, water and next acrylic water varnishes and then clean
up edges etc.

Then the head will get a going over.
