I don't remember one.

I didn't either, but I'm sure I saw one in the Tamashii thread. I wonder what it was.

The thing is though, is that R2's dome really is more of a silver/brushed metal and not quite a chromed or VAC metal look.

Yes. But, I like how the old Kenner figure looked. I wouldn't want a chromed R2 as my official 1:6 R2, but it would be cool to have one anyway.

i never had plans to sell one and keep the other... having them in hand only confirms as to just how cool it is having both renditions. i really get how Hot Toys deemed this worthy... even side by side, the "before and after vibe" works tremendously.

I got my shipping notice,he'll be here on Thursday along with my new DX Dark Knight/Bruce Wayne!
:yess::yess:
I'm just praying this stupid hurricane doesn't delay it!

Hey hope you dont mind throwing all your freaks AWESOME pics together in one post not sure how to multipost all these in one ...
Great shots guys.:clap:clap:clap AMAZING pics.....

I've had some issue with the magnets in the Luke heads - in both instances the magnet broke off from the glue and was attached to the metal plate on the hair-piece. Then I super-glued the magnets back in place, waited a few hours and re-attached only to find the magnet pulled the metal plate off one of the hair-pieces.

Needless to say, be careful of the glued parts on this one.

Otherwise, this figure is downright super-grail bags of awesome.

That seems to be a reoccurring problem with many HT magnets...I've seen the same thing on some of my IM helmets

True. I know that HT seems to be using neo-magnets and those are pretty strong. I use them on miniatures to hold them onto the sides of metal toolboxes. With Luke's hair coming over the head itself, it almost doesn't even really need the magnet, since it fits pretty snug.

Has anyone measured how long the weather vain is from top to bottom? I was hoping it would fit into an IKEA Besta. It doesn't look like it will from the pics.

Received mine today. Static generic poses inside their plastic coffins as of right now. Great figures for the price, 2 for 1...can't pass up on that. Just need HT Vader!

Ha! Just checked my email and noticed I got a shipping earlier today. Will be here Monday! AWESOME.

I ordered my EX last Sunday, btw.

Damn, there has been a ton of great shots over the last couple days. :clap

Monday can't get here soon enough :panic:
