My weathervane red lights stopped working :/ had it on a total of about 20 minutes.. sucks, and i dont have a tiny enough screwdriver to open and change the batteries.. although I doubt its the batteries considering the blue light still works fine, but the red is a faint flicker if anything. Anyone else experiencing this? Going to contact Sideshow monday morning.

I must say that both of these figures have got to be one of the best, if not the best, 1:6 scale figures that I have added to my collection. The Bespin encounter with Vader scene at the end of Episode V defines Star Wars for me, so to be able to add both of these figures to my collection is just awesome.

I received mine yesterday and opened them today and I'm just blown away by the detail and representation of Luke that Hot Toys has created. The DX feature just adds to the success of these figures. I'm also very impressed with the overall value for this set even at $300. Still expensive to be sure but to get two complete figures, two stands and the Weathervane is almost inconceivable for Hot Toys these days. The Exclusive helmet is just icing on the cake.

Just can't say enough positives about this set.

Sorry for posting this AGAIN but just in case anyone was looking for a correct 1/6 scale R2 like the one in this pic

View attachment 53287 it's for sale here. A little steep since I got mine for $40.00 shipped but at least everyone will know where to get one.

It is a full 7 inches tall and fully articulated including third retractable leg. View attachment 53290
Perfect scale for R2. Much taller and wider than hasbro. Looks great in this shot too.

When I first took it out I had to remove two plastic tabs so I am pretty sure you are dealing with two seperate battery departments for the blue and the flashing red lights. So should just be the batteries

Ordered the exclusive Monday, shipped today, will have it next Monday! Only 3 days left!!!!

Ordered mine back in Nov of 2011 and won't get mine until Thursday. The only reason I think I finally got mine shipped was because I posted a nasty comment on Sideshow's Facebook page about people who just ordered receiving theirs before mine.

I think it's our location. I ordered same time and I finally received shipping notice last night with same arrival date (assuming projected winter storm next week doesn't cause a delay).

Pardon me for saying this, as I am a newbie here, but I think it's safe to say we all need to perhaps put a little more emphasis on display backgrounds. I know I, for one, consider it to be a very important part of collecting. That's just me. Do any of you know of a good website that sell printed display backgrounds for 1:6 scale? Thanks!

I totally agree with you. Hot Toys have offered some backgrounds with a few figures, but with the size of the boxes, is it really hard for them to print out a display background considering the cost of these figures?

get yourself a quality set of driver's in a case and it will be the best tool set in your house. I don't really put my set away that I got from Costco. Since my daughter was born a week ago I'm putting toys together and messing with my hobby stuff.

Your Daughter was born a week ago and you have time for your hobby? Amazing! My Daughter is about to turn 4 and I am just starting to get a little free time (minutes) now.

Well not a lot but a lot of family is here all the time and I'm off work . I'm sure once everyone is gone I won't have time for myself anymore.

Enjoy the help while it lasts, and Congratulations!

While you will miss the free time, your getting something infinitely better as a trade off. Trust me, I never get tired of being a Dad.

Though, I am often tired. ;)

thanks man. As soon as I saw her I fell in love. She's beautiful and a miracle because of my background but that's another story. I hope she will like SW at least a little bit. :)

Fair amount of singles and loose on Ebay already. I reckon in a month Ebay will be flooded with singles. I'll probably pick a half up once they drop down.
